I just noticed that if I ever created a custom attribute for a DC component part, remove it, the attribute is still present when I open the DC and select one of the copies.
If I select the original, where the attribute is not seen in the Component Attribute window. Is this a bug or am I missing something when I remove attributes?

I think that components hat are created dynamically are essentially unique to the parent component. So if you add an attribute, then that component gets copied a bunch of times, each copy will be unique to the parent. So when you delete that attribute from the parent, it does not get deleted from the copies. To remove it from the copies, you need to delete them or remove them. Then re-create them. That is my understanding of it.

          Ah.
I reset the component and now all the custom Attributes are gone.

          Thanks for clearing that up.
