@numerobis said: No, it's not new. I already described the problem in the v2.0 release thread http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=397%26amp;t=67013#p614977 Oh, I did not notice that original post. Sorry. Can you start a new thread on the topic? (I've not heard anyone else describe this, so it's probably not going to be trivial tracking it down. I'd rather track this in a separate thread.)

There should be no need to ever use v1. Put it back into the shelf.

@fouronethirty said: ive been trying to download the new version and intalling it , and it replaces the licensed version and and such that it doesnt work anymore. The extension doesn't work? (Oh wait - you asked in regard to Vertex Tools? You coming from an older version and updated to v1.2? You no longer use a username and password to activate. You now use a serial key. All existing customers would have received emails with their serial keys. Though some times they get caught in spam filters. You can use this URL to have the email sent again: http://evilsoftwareempire.com/recover-order)

Thanks, guys. Here you go. Proxy and detailed version... [image: a7Vo_MeadowsInTheSky_Proxy.jpg] [image: bXqI_MeadowsInTheSky_Smooth.jpg] I put the red surface and the white structure in separate groups and subdivided them with the same level of detail. I could of course have achieved the same result with all the geometry inside one group by using the crease-tool to get those sharp edges. But like that it was simpler to do... [EDIT] Thomthom, I gave your plugin less credit, than it deserved. Out of interest I just tried to achieve the same inside one group, selecting all the bounding edges of the red surface and creasing them with one click. Worked like a charm! And now editing the model is way easier, because its all in one group [/EDIT]

Dan, right on the money. I have been programming for 53 years but I am new to Ruby. I have done JS/CSS work but not a lot. Assembler is my game and that is where I am very comfortable.

@unknownuser said: Toolbars that stay in place and collapse as you re-size the application window...Yes finally! There is still a problem with not being able to save the toolbar positions. If you disable ruby scripts for testing, or any other reason, and then enable them, they all show up on your screen as floating windows. It sucks to have to remember where all of them went. It would be great to have the save toolbar position option available for this reason.

@thomthom said: So it appear that it only work if it's all done within one action. Which is why my menu plugin works when SketchUp starts up, because the all the plugins are loaded within the same "loop" (??). ... This is awkward and annoying. I can probably make it work, what I want to do, but it'll hard to debug as I need to actually restart SketchUp every time... http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=52489&start=30 Yes its a great way to waste more time! Its enough to make one take up quantum computing instead
