I suggest you redo a clean installation of LibFredo6. Obviously, your update did go wrong somewhere. If you post a capture of your Sketchup Plugins directory, I think I could tell you what's wrong. Fredo

I have no idea what happened before I got the file but when I got it I found things were 'upside down', so components were coming in on their top not their base. So I did reset the axis and flipped the house upside down. So Now: I have reset the axis and I find it is 'in the sky' and a long way behind the house. So I have moved the house to the original axis and I can now see the the back-front faces of the house are off by about 7.86 degrees. I have adjusted it and now all is good I think. What is the button's assignment in the Wacom control panel? Did you recently upgrade the drivers? If it had been working well before and just suddenly stopped, you need to look at what has changed. SketchUp didn't change--they don't send out automatic updates like Apple does, for example--so you should look elsewhere. Did you update the OS version recently? What version are you running?

Unless you saved the file at some point to create an initial SKP file, I don't think the autosaved untitled file gets saved.

TIG, I bow to your expertise, and will reinstall SU at some point. For now it is working well, no more SKB's, no problems. I still do not understand why, of the many times and many computers I have installed SU on over the years, without using "run as administrator", it did not cause problems with these installs. I am not questioning the wisdom or correctness of your advice and recommendations, I'm certainly not qualified to do that. I just like to understand the whys and wherefores of things when I can. I guess I could just chalk it up to being lucky, but that's just not the way things go for me Again, thanks Steve

Thanks for the hand holding Tig Repair sounded a lot better then re install! Looks like it helped, exporting is back to how it should be but those measurements are gone, but the problem is probably fixed!

Hate to bring this back up but I'm at wits end trying to get SU18 to work with my SM. I've tried copying the files as suggested and upgraded the driver today to 10.5, which 3DC claims to support SU18. I'm now getting following error msg when starting SU18. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Dave R, Thank you for the clarification of the “-0” file. This has been a new issues for me since moving to 2018 version. I hope they fix it soon its annoying, so I need to now throw out the original file and remove the “-0” file to get back the original name? Its like the message “Not responding” instead of something like “this program is work on it’” and seeing a little hour glass spin around and round on my screen…that way I know it’s doing something other than crashing. sketch3d.de, You are right, this should have been a new thread. I’m just frustrated that I can’t install what I have purchased and have it work,( like it use to be) without having to figure out that things have changed and I should just know about them, like picking running as an administrator (when did that happen?). But that another topic too. sorry just venting...

Extracting models is against the TOS for Google Earth. Extensions, like PlaceMaker, can extract 3D buildings from OSM but these are only good for mass models.

Try Virtual Machine, I've used it in the past (admittedly a few years ago) with a fair amount of success, but not for SketchUp though. However, the problem you're having, IIRC I was able to configure a VM with access to the GFX hardware of the host machine.
