    BlenderGIS can get you pretty good images.. you do need an API key to get set up but it's all free and you can even generate 3d geometry based on the elevations in the satellite images.. it tiles in blender so you the more you zoom the better the image quality to a point.

    Hi As Dave said, I cleaned (redid) the geometry first (using the axes for the circles or arcs), then clarified the dimension of the inner arc to adjust the texture size exactly to this dimension, assuming that's your intention (?). In addition, I separated the outer concrete shell from the inner (to become painted) surface to get easier access to this face. For texturing I used Fredo6´s ThruPaint plugin then. To make this entire procedure much easier, this can happen at a short section instead of the whole length of the tunnel [image: Tunnel Test HX.jpg] Tunnel Test HX.skp

    Yes! I thought that I checked it, but I probably looked from too far away so that the dotted blue line over the sand texture looked like solid... Now when checking afterwards the dotted line really looks quite solid over sand. Thanks!

    An update for anyone wanting to create a ’Catalogue’ of skp thumbnails using Mootools 3d Browser. It may not be the best process but it works just great for my requirements. Open directory of thumbnails in Mootools Print to OneNote Save resulting Print file as a PDF Thanks to JuJu for reminding me that I have Mootools.     Push pull

    One possibility is that if you are "looking through" the hole as you push-pull, the tool naturally stops at the opposite face because there is no other inference in that direction based on the cursor's location. This doesn't happen when you are viewing more from the side so that the tool can find a meaningful distance to extrude based on the cursor position. [image: pushpull.gif]

    Taking another look, there is a deeper issue in addition to the Gatekeeper quarantine: the extension's code is attempting to load a Ruby 2.0.0 library from the Frameworks distributed with SketchUp, but SketchUp 2018 does not contain such a library, it has Ruby 2.2.0. So even if you figure out the quarantine thing, this extension isn't going to work under SU 2018!

    The easiest way I found was by using the DIBAC plugin, it recognizes the cut face according to the texture selected for the GROUP, regardless of the colors of the faces. [image: Untitled-1.jpg]

    Did you purchase through a reseller? If so, you should contact them and see if they can provide help. Otherwise open a ticket with SketchUp Support and see if they can help. Be patient, though. They won't be into the office for a few hours. FWIW, the only correct way to install SketchUp on Windows machines is to right click and choose Run as administrator. It's not enough to have admin privileges and being logged in as administrator does not replace using Run as administrator.

    Ok thanks. I have updated everything and I still get the bugsplat every time I try and use(still on 2017). Perhaps it is related to another plugin I have installed. I will try to disable them all and see if it makes any diiference

    Lay Components Flat

    What would it take to pull that code out? All I really need to do is lay all of the components flat with the origin point being at Z0 and the Z (blue) axis facing up... In to put more simply a script that would align each components axis up with the SketchUp world axis, and lay them all out in a line along the X axis.

    Looks like you are not getting the edges or not all of them. are the house walls set right on top of the grass? (You really should have floor or foundation at that level) If the house or other cutting element is just sitting on the grass but not not sunk into the grass surface, SU does not properly perform "intersect faces". Hiding the house so you can inspect the grass would help.

If you get them directly in SketchUp, they will open with the version you are using as long as it is 2014 or higher.
