      Hey guys,

      We're having a couple of issues on some of our PC's upgrading to Sketchup 2018. They are all windows 10 machines, all fully up-do-date including drivers etc.

      The issue is that Sketchup 2018 simply won't install; it gives the following error message:

      @unknownuser said:

      "Sketchup Pro 2018 (64-bit) Setup Wizard ended prematurely

      Sketchup Pro 2018 Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, run Setup Wizard again. Click the Finish button to exit the Setup Wizard"

      This also happens when the installer is (right click) run as administrator (not just a user with admin priveleges.

      This is concerning as our 19 seat 2017 licence expires in 4 days, meaning some users will be unable to work in Sketchup.

        Re-download the installer file. It might be that it was damaged / corrupted in some way previously.

        Are all the machines compliant to SU2018Pro hardware requirements?

          Yeah, they're all fairly beefy machines. Have tried several times re-downloading the installer.

            Did you purchase through a reseller? If so, you should contact them and see if they can provide help. Otherwise open a ticket with SketchUp Support and see if they can help. Be patient, though. They won't be into the office for a few hours.

            FWIW, the only correct way to install SketchUp on Windows machines is to right click and choose Run as administrator. It's not enough to have admin privileges and being logged in as administrator does not replace using Run as administrator.
