    it's in the wrong spot, but it's fine. For SU 2015 on OSX, you want the build that says: "Nov 14, 2014 2.00.25244 sketchup_2015_osx 32bit " even though it's actually 64bit. There was confusion over the changes between the latest service release for SU 2013, 2014, and 2015 on OSX. They all only have one platform that they support, but the 2015 version is 64bit only, whereas the other builds are 32bit only. On the windows side, there is a 32bit and 64bit version for 2015. We will move it soon, but in the meantime, there's nothing wrong with the build, other than where it's being listed on the website.

    Sometimes when creating new materials a disconnect can occur between V-Ray and Sketchup. Try Going to Plugins> Debugging> Force Sync All Materials

    thanks, Andybot. I had been putting it in the wrong spot... in fact, you made me realize I've been tweaking the parameters on my fresnel reflections wrong, until now! No wonder it felt like such a guess & check process to get the results I wanted...

    sure, it's possible if you're on the same computer. If you only have one license you can only use one computer at a time. You may also be able to set processor affinity so you reserve some cores of one session, and other cores for the other session. (since vray uses all available cores to render, it may be pretty slow to run two renderings at the same time.)

    I just now read on the Chaos Group forum that with DR, each bucket calculates all the irmap passes individually, so you don't see the multiple pass with DR enabled.     try running the rendering with the glass dome hidden. Maybe do a material override render too. Something is not right with your GI calculation.

    yes, try updating to the latest release. Do be aware that the demo also limits you to only few lights rendering at a time.
