To see if that script is the generator of the issue [and not a 'clash'], please disable the file "../Plugins/RS_Window.rb" Use the SketchUcation PluginsManager, or simply change it manually to "RS_Window.rb!", so that when SketchUp restarts it doesn't load the file. I then suggest you get in touch with the author directly... http://www.rubysofthelpdesk.eu/upload/index.php The RBZ version in the PluginStore is 3.0.0 and your list says you have 4.1 ! I suspect he's not publishing here any more - since 18 months... Also, please note the PluginStore's older version doesn't actually include a file named "../Plugins/RS_Window/RubyWindow_DatCol_Class.rbs" or "../RubyWindow_Load.rbs" - which seems to be the issue makers... So it's hard to comment further... These seemingly key files are also scrambled as RBS so it's also hard to see what they are doing... The author must help you...

Hi bobomyrat, hi folks. Make sure that you have the latest driver for your graphic card. Try choosing the anti-aliasing setting with the highest number. On your image I see that you have highlighted one with 0X in the rightmost column. Try a 2X or even a 4X if one is present. Click OK to validate then, to be really sure, quit SketchUp and restart it. Just ideas. Jean

With the toolbar dialog open you can edit the native toolbars, so the most likely explanation is that you went to move the edit toolbar and simply dragged the move tool off. When making a custom toolbar you need to hit ctrl as you drag a tool to another toolbar, this leaves the original in place and makes a copy for the custom toolbar. And as you see there is always reset if you pull one off by mistake.

Holy Cow! For a beginner, you really like jumping in the deep end, don't you? Pun intended. Asymmetric deformation and a skewed base. Okay, what you need to do, if you haven't got them already is to install The two plugins Sketchy FFD (Freeform Deformation) and Joint Push/Pull. Until you've done that you won't even be able to see parts of the skp below (like the control points of FFD) After you've done that, open the file below and click through the scenes tabs at the top. They will baby walk you through the entire process. Until you've learnt a little about those two plugins, some of the instructions will still be gibberish. FFD is accessed via a right-click context menu on the selected Group. JPP has its own tool-bar. I hope this helps. Bathtub Construction.skp

Exactly what plugin are you using? Is the fence pale a component? I used PathCopy from Smustard and I get this. Note, I'm showing the original open for editing so you can see its axis alignment. [image: 7l4m_Screenshot-11_12_20154_21_38PM.png]

Looks like you're doing it OK? Offset will only work if the curve is coplanar and will work in the plane only. You don't need to weld it. That's what will join separate elements into a curve the weld plugins, of which I think there are a couple. Curvizard by Fredo has a weld function. OR if that first image is just an example of what you want to do... Again, you can use the SU offset tool if the whole curve or entities all lie in the same plane. If that's what you want: Draw a rectangle to do your work on. Then once you are done drawing the path edges the surface will already be there. Push pull would define the fence. If the edges of the path are actually not coplanar and undulating in 3d then you'd have to have a plugin like Sandbox or Curviloft to put a surface on it. Extrusion Tools would also help to pull the edges up into a fence.

the road elements need to be in a different group not to interact with terrain. Use a thickening plugin to give sides to the road or whatever it is, which reach down or intersect terrain so it is not a just a magic carpet floating above. But if you must model the terrain for cut and fill as is always done in reality it gets complicated and, short of more advanced software, careful modeling is required. Always save a group of the original terrain for later adjustments and reference.

I like an relatively easy problem The two lines of docked toolbars nearer the top of the screen have pushed the other [first] docked toolbars downwards. Simply un-dock the problem ones [drag onto the main screen], then re-dock them in-line with the other toolbar[s] as desired... You could also dock them on the sides if you prefer...

Nikola, sorry I wasn't more helpful. I do use thru paint for a lot of texturing. Tried sketchuv when I was having trouble with some particular objects. I'm sure any trouble I have with either plugin is my inexperience. Hopefully one of the more savy members will chime in with better advice.
