This is how I understood your advice to me: Scene 1A/Select All/Explode/Select All/Layer0/Make Group/Layer1/Update Scene Scene 1B/Layer3 Invisible/Explode/Select All/Layer0/Group/Layer1/Update Scene I went through the other scenes basically in the same way. I've closed and opened the model a few times and no dimension lines have disappeared!! Thank you for the valuable lesson.

Dear Anssi, "Textures and shadows are raster effects that cannot be exported in a vector form." Has there been any progress in this issue from five years ago?

@pbacot said: Admirable you are trying to use your abilities for a good cause. I like your ordinary fish scale, that could give your tongue weight. Thank you sir. Knowing the value of visualization, a graphic was needed to show how easy tongue weight can be gauged. Right tool for the job and all that.

I ran into the same problem after upgrading to Win 10. It took me a while to figure out what was happening. I don't recall permissions ever being any problem before when it comes to Materials.

Hi Ryan, hi folks. Maybe the Offset Tool can do that. Can you post an example of what you want to do. Best regards.

Ruby on the other hand is a language use to create plugins. (DCs forms and functionality was built using Ruby) However DCs are the most likely vehicle for information modeling, so understanding how they work is not a waste of time deleted last comment going through your examples now Thanks for clearing that up. It helps me put things in focus. It's also good to know that I haven't lost my mind, thinking the DCs were empty. If your assumption is correct, then I presume we will see some major changes in functionality. In the following file, I have broken out things into various attributes to better monitor results. The ColorCube has its Material attribute removed as it need to be added fresh each time. I have been have some difficulty with the Scale tool too, so the same applies. It needs to be reinitialized in each slider; SliderR, SliderG and SliderB. LenX gets evaluated with NEAREST(CURRENT()) and the X axis is aligned to the base of the slider scale. This give a direct relationship between LenX and X. The 'Trick' attribute of ColorCube came from telling myself, this might just do the trick. Thanks for looking. It means a lot to me. Upon some reflection, I think I need to move most of ColorCube's attributes to the sliders and do all the processing from there.

This is caused by local axes being very far from the origin. You want to use this for a fast fix: http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=30508

hi that's exactly the same way which I'm running my render jobs. Even my render pc is quite similar. The problem is not SkUp on the render pc, but the performance of the Internet connection via VNC in my case. Every click in Skup causes a new image transfer via the internet... Everything appears with delay which can be quite annoying. So I'm trying to fix everything on my workstation for being able to start only the render tasks later. Something else. Not all Skup shortcuts are working via VNC. And a rebooting of the rendering engine (crtl-alt-del) also doesn't work via VNC, if needed...

Yes, to gain access to the vertex, you must be working in the same context as the vertex.

My favourite technique comes from the fantastic plugin: Fractal terrain erode. Just select the face, plugins ) Erode, be careful with the iterations (the more it will take a lot of time and can be buggy...)

I have kept the Nvidia so if I want I can switch it but what is strange is that my ATI is supposed to be a 3d card and my Nvidia is only for gamers but as you said, skp is a bit slower, for the moment it's ok, but when I will have more component I will see how much slow it will be. Yeah the little man is called Derek lol but I don't want to kill Derek I only want to delete all other preinstalled components, but I didn't understand your explanation about that if I delete Derek, why should the other preinstalled component disapear to?

This is intended behavior when the GPU can't handle displaying the model smoothly during orbiting. This allows you to orbit more smoothly. Way back in the old days, SketchUp didn't do that and with complex models on low powered computers it was very difficult and slow to orbit. By the way, this isn't a bug so I moved your post from the SketchUp Bugs forum.
