No problems here either. I used the corner to set the depth then double clicked to repeat on the others. [image: 5vjq_Windows.gif]

@hornoxx said: how is it ?!!? @pbacot said: How is it? Is it better over there? It's unbelievable, one second after midnight the pandemic disappeared, world hunger was vanquished, climate change was reversed and unicorns stopped all rainbow activity. I then checked the forum and finding no questions realised I was dreaming.

The number of segments can be correct but, if the radius of the curve is very small, each of the segments length may be below the lower limit accepted by SketchUp.

The sketchup campus is a good place to start. https://learn.sketchup.com/ Plus the Sketchup Youtube Channel. I originally followed Sketchup for dummies on youtube by aiden chopra.

Back edges are a raster display thing so they won't show if you are rendering in Vector or Hybrid. With SU2019, you could create a scene using a style that shows the Footings layer with dashes. You'll probably want to use the Wireframe face style with the dashes. Then in LO stack viewports with the different scenes so the footings can be displayed with the dashes and the rest of the model as solid, in the other viewport. This is much easier now in LO2021 since you can use a single scene for the two viewports and control which tags are visible and which tags use dashes.

@bheast bhoy said: WILL I BE ALBLE TO OPEN THE IOS SKETCHUP FILE FROM WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM SKETCHUP?? The .skp files created by SketchUp are compatible with both Windows and MAC versions of SketchUp. Though you need to be aware that .skp files can be opened only by the same or later versions of SketchUp than the version of the one you created them with. E.g.: You can not open an .skp file saved by SU 2020 as a v2020 .skp with SU 2018.

I am running the latest version in trial mode. And managed to find a solution myself late last night. DAE is basically a text file you can edit with any text editor. I changed the material*.tif to my original JPGs and got it working.

Can you show us what you are seeing? It could be that you've turned on Back Edges. Press k again to turn them off. Or it could be that you're seeing a dashes style because you've assigned a dash style to a Layer/Tag

Your point cloud is too dense in some parts and this defeats the interpolation. I would suggest that you clean it up by discarding a few points, at least those which are very close with different altitudes. Anyway, here is the result for the simple Delaunay Triangulation. [image: 6pCj_TerrainCheylardtriangulation.png] A little bit shaky, but enough to extract isocontours and generate the terrain with a quadmesh style. [image: Rgej_TerrainCheylardquadmesh.png] Both are enclosed in the attached model (SU2017). terrain Cheylard - triangulation.skp Fredo

Translated by Google: @unknownuser said: As shown in the attached file, when you click the download plugin button, you are prompted to install the app. What app should I install? Save the .rbz file to your Downloads folder. Then go to the Window menu in SketchUp and select the Extension Manager. At the bottom click Install Extension. Navigate to where you saved the file, select it and choose Open. What version of SketchUp are you really using? Your profile says 2019 Free/Make which is impossible. Since this is not a bug, I've moved it from the Bugs category.

What kind of detail do you need for bolts? I can't imagine you need to model threads or other find detail. You can probably make all the bolt components you need from scratch in short order. You might also find something useful in the 3D Warehouse. I prefer to make my own so I can control the amount of detail and the way they insert into my models. As for the exploded views, there are a couple of old plugins that will move the groups/components in your model away from each other. One is a French one called Exploded View and there's another one from Smustard. I'm not sure about their compatibility with the newest SketchUp versions. This is also something I prefer to do myself. I find it easier and faster to create exploded views that work using the Move tool and Select.

Cotty it's one of the downsides of the forum spam filtering, new posters need to have their early posts moderated, which can delay the time from posting to being seen. I had already answered it at Sketchup before this one got through moderation. So it's not really a double post in the true sense. I saw it and should have mentioned it was solved already before Tig replied. I will strive to do better.

On a PC all Auto-Saved files are now found here. C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\SketchUp\SketchUp 2020\SketchUp\working\SKETCHUP\RecoveredFiles Change the SketchUp version number to suit your needs... Such files are no longer kept with the model. This folder-path is 'hidden' - but using the path pasted into a Windows Explorer address bar should take you there, if you don't have folder-options set to shown hidden files/folders...
