It looks like you are running up against the tiny face limitation in SketchUp. Instead of trying to draw it at 6mm in diameter, set units to meters and draw it so it is 6m in diameter. Then scale the model down after you are finished.
These are 4mm bolts which I modeled that way.

These are 6mm shoulder screws also modeled with the same method.

This is most probably due to the settings of the Edge property filters. Just check the right options.

Fredo
You got it!
Thanks
It sounds like you are confusing components and groups. I'm guessing you are selecting some of the geometry in your model to make a component but the selection isn't being replaced by the component. This normally happens if you aren't selecting all of the connected geometry and you haven't ticked the box for Replace selection with component. Make sure that box at the bottom of the window is ticked before creating the component.

Generally it is a good idea to create a component before you continue modeling to create additional geometry that doesn't belong in the component.

What am I missing here?
Do I need to buy the Pro version of Sketchup?
You are missing that SketchUp Free doesn't have the ability to use extensions. Nor do the other SketchUp for Web versions. You need a desktop client version to be able to use them. If you are just using it for hobby stuff you can still get SketchUp 2017 Make. If you are using SketchUp commercially you would need SketchUp Pro. Both are available at http://www.sketchup.com/download/all
Hi.
I am playing a game called Vehicle Simulator to be sailing ships. I tested my new creation MS Zenith, but I don't made the model of MS Zenith, It really didn't work, but the .cfg file as the boat, and the rest of the .cfg files are even 0 KB. How do I solve this problem!?!?!?!?
Well, I need to install 3Drad, but if I test and if I will

Sorry to bother you all with a dumb question, but that's what Newbie forums are for. Thanks for your reply. JA
No worries and that is indeed what the Newbie forum is for.
p.s. You can call me Dave.
Else you have this cool one "Coupe" by BLB Bois! Was Free but now inside this a complet pack for wood makers! (39€ /year for 36 marvelous wood's plugins for Pro wood makers works also for Make version

Volume must be a Component Solide

It sounds like it might be some sort of memory or cache problem. You don't have it saved as a component, do you?
One thing I could suggest is that instead of trying to import the new ring, you open it in a separate file, then copy / paste it into the project file. You'll have to resave the imported geometry as a new component if you need it to be.
...since you already have a quad related geometry, using Quad Face Tools in addition to automatically select, add etc. line-loops could be obvious too
http://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=QuadFaceTools
Else you have Visuhole by Fredo for simulate result of some Boolean operations
and the crazzy "Bouffe-tout" by a French guy BLB who trim any solid component by a surface(s)!
(free but you must be free registered)
