Sketchup to Unity Mesh export

Hello everyone,
I have a large model in sketchup which I want to export to Unity. But the problem is that unity is not applying the mesh (for mesh collider) automatically to all the components. Unity is recognizing the model mesh but it has created separate mesh for all components of the model. I now have to assign mesh to every little component of the model manually, which is impractical, considering the large model.
Has anyone else faced this problem?
Is this in any way solvable?
I need urgent help!Thanks.
