Thats really nice. Would love to play Tony Hawk's around that.
Really appreciate the UDIM workflow. I thinks it something we need to have a think about implementing in WrapR

For some reason I am drawn to the material. So much so I ended up look for real world interior shots. My first thought was some type of galvanised steel.
You actually mimicked camera positions of photographs!
Completed in 2007 in Zurich, Switzerland. Images by Walter Mair. A two-family house is a building with a wall that divides it into two halves. The dividing wall is the only wall in the entire house. It cannot be...

If you jump between real world shots and your renders its nuts!
@HornOxx we have yet to complete the menu for this new forum.
But if you visit our homepage and hover the PluginStore menu you can access Buy Extensions.
I'll add it to these forums next week. It's Paddys Weekend here so I'm enjoying the extended weekend.

The linework at top? Yes. It's "pen sketch."
It's really well executed. I always like NPR stuff.
Just when you think 'I can render' the legend returns and reminds me that I can't.
The attention the detail is insane. I'm in awe
If you import the exported dwg back into SketchUp do you see double lines?
If NO it could be the importer in your app that's the cause. If YES, then there maybe something in the source SKP file.
Once you include a secondary app into the mix the likely cause would be harder to detect. Can you reproduce on just a small sample of geometry?
Thanks Majid. They are really fun tasks when you have various limits placed on you.
<1000 tris, 1k texture etc. It makes you really evaluate what needs geometry details versus texture
The fortifications were my fav to do...
@massimo I'm gonna try this in Rayscaper. It uses the newer PBR disney shader and I wonder how it handles glass when you apply real world properties to both geometry and the shader.
It has a classic glass shader along with the 'Fast' glass. But when I see how Thea produced such accurate results it would be interesting to see.
Thanks for sharing that. The glass reflections really were on point in your renders and now I can see why.

You're slightly misunderstanding what Rich is saying/doing.
I must take the stone out of me mouth before I speak
It will be baked down. These are type of hero shots for the game UI.
They are using Unreal. Its their first game so its cool watching them develop and improve over time.
Fredo Portrait allows you to control orientation of a camera but not world position.
SketchUp's native Position Camera tool allows you to place a camera at a location then set it's height. If you then switch to Zoom tool and hold SHIFT you set the FOV.
I use a mix of those 3 to create cameras
At this point I'm convinced your trying to make the Wizard of Oz machine...
Great modelling but why no Ambient Occlusion style?
@Rich-O-Brien Get off my lawn!
The right side bar's text is kind of small for my aging eyes. Can you make the font bigger?
We'll be tweaking as we go so expect improvements. As you can imagine migrating was a big challenge. Keeping historical stuff was important.
So poke around for a bit before piling on the requests
@Dave-R Are you open sourcing the print files for others or is it a commercial product for the living aids sector?
I knew someone who invented a sock removal aid that ended up licensed to some large US based living aid supplier. It was initially an aid for wetsuit removal that caught the eye of an investor who saw a use in living aids.
Those clips that receive the belt must be pretty unique in the space.
@L-i-am I tried that a few weeks ago. Its rather hard to get to grips with and feels last-gen in terms of output.
Huge levels of customisation available and a really clever LOD switch.
@Dave-R Nothing comes close to SketchUp for native screenshots. Even minus shadows it's so easy to read the drawing.
No, you can't search libraries unfortunately.
ThruPaint does initially take time to build a database but after its ok to search.

@gullfo Rich, when can we start filling up the suggestion box? I only have two things.
Be gentle Gus. Its been a huge undertaking to get the old content into this newer system.
I'd love if users just poked around for a few days to see how it works and feels.
But if you see or experience a genuine system error or unusable feature let us know.
You can put them here as I subbed to this thread
