    • RE: ALL THINGS AI

Many people mention the threat but fail to consider the cost.

Most AI companies are leaning heavily towards AI as a utility like water or electricity. So expect it to be a monthly utility cost for homes/users.

Whereas I am in the same camp as Dave. AI should be used to tackle real world problems.

I do use it but mostly as a feedback solution or ideation.

I would say the vast majority using AI in the 3D visualisation space are people that have never modelled, textured or rendered.

This is what I mean by enclosed...

The interior is really hard to bounce light around and in the real world there would be more internal light paths happening.

One of the issues with reflection settings is, you cannot go lower than 0.

      Roughness is a 0 to 1 slider.

      • 0 = 0% roughness therefore 100% reflection (Black)

      • 1 = 100% roughness therefore 0% reflection (White)

The values actually represent Black to White which is why when you plug greyscale roughness maps you create some very nice results.

DaVinci Resolve has a free version that is on par with Adobe After Effects. Its probably overkill for your needs.

Clever technique for the heat haze. The micro scratches are a nice touch too. Lifts the realism level.
