@luisto Photomatch image is linked to camera position. If you orbit then the position changes so the match image will disappear.

If you want an image to be persistent it would need to be a style with a background image

Check the current style. It appears you have the ground color set to black.

Search the 3D Warehouse for geodesic dome. You'll probably find some tutorials by Taff Goch that show how to model them.

And thank you. It appears that google translator did a fine job. I understood what you wrote. While I waited, I went looking for that "portaombrelli" by Google Images using "umbrella stand". Finally found it toward the end of the large collection of images. There were some very interesting alternate designs to be viewed.
