Yes. I found that works. I was just advising that one shouldn't just set a very small Near value and expect it to work for all camera positions.

There isn't an aanimation export option in SketchUp Shop. At least not currently. Did you see something somewhere that indicates there is animation export?
By the way, your profile indicates you are using SketchUp 2015 Make. Could you please update that information?
Darn! That explains why I couldn't find it. Btw, there is no option for Sketchup Shop in the License field in the profile dialog box, only Make and Pro. I changed mine to read pro although it's not true.
So maybe 3Skeng will be appropriate ot the free Pompi!

Each style file contains a doc_thumbnail png image. You could edit the image in an image editor. To access it you would need to change rename the style file from .style to .zip. You could also replace the image with a new one but you would want to make sure the new image is exactly the same size and resolution as the existing thumbnail image.
The default thumbnails are created from a SketchUp file which, on the PC is found in Program Data/SketchUp/...Templates. You could open a copy of it and modify it with your style and export an image to use for the style thumbnail.
Or you could modify the model so you have a different appearance for the thumbnails for new styles going forward. I would keep a copy of the original StyleTemplate.skp around so you can go back to the original if you want. Note that won't change the existing style thumbnails so it's possible you could create a custom thumbnail model for just a limited set of styles if you wanted.

Box is on it but... What version of SketchUp are you using? Your profile indicates 2014. Is that correct? I don't believe the inscribed/circumscribed option had been introduced yet.

Hello, recently I watched a video which explains how to use JHS powerbar to create curved surfaces, and I've already installed the file from this site itself, 'JHS_PowerBar_2015_v2.4.rbz'
How can we install it into sketchup?
Thanks for the help,
Rita.
There are 2 easy ways to install plugins from the Sketchucation site to SketchUp:
Download the .rbz from https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore and save it to your hard drive. In SketchUp select the Window / Extension Manager menu point. At the extension manager window click "Install extension" and in the open file window you select the .rbz file of the plugin.
In case you plan to install more than one plugin it is better to first install SketchUcation Tools plugin from https://sketchucation.com/resources/plugin-store-download with the above mentioned method. From this plugin you can easily auto install any plugins from the SketchUcation site.
After yet another go at this I found the following. The Component Options and Component Attributes panels can be opened at any point in a modelling session including after selecting/deselecting existing components (not necessarily dynamic components) or creating new components. However, the Options panel must be opened first. Any component selected will now show up in the Options panel. Before the Attributes panel can be launched a component (any) must be selected. Once the Attribute panel is launched the selected component can be deselected without any inputs to either panel. Thereafter, components can be selected, attributes added etc. Both panels will work as expected. Both panels can be dismissed if not needed further but to relaunch them the same sequence must be observed.
Maybe this behaviour is a quirk of just my own setup but the procedure that I found (stumbled across) is certainly not in any way an explanation.

Be sure you aren't mixing up the Icon, I don't remember Zorro having a tool bar, but Artisan does have a sword tool.
Close. Artisan has a knife / dagger / Roman type sword icon, Zorro has a sable type sword icon.
Thanks, Box. That's a good way to do it for my purposes. I'm trying to decide on finishes for the range wall in my kitchen (or to let my wife help!). It is helpful to have reasonably realistic representations of the items on the wall to get a better feel for how things hang together. But super-detailed geometry for a close-up is not needed.
OTOH, I was very glad to learn the other ways to model this as well, to improve my general knowledge!

I've already racked my brain over this "what or who the heck is Gizmo"-term.
(Gizmo for me sounds like a character from Sesame Street )
I now have it straight from the ex wife's mouth, she is native German speaker and works as a translator for various languages, that a Gizmo could be translated as a „Ding“, „Dingens“ or „Dingsbums“. Just to name a few.
You can store your model in cloud storage provided by Trimble Connect or you can save it to your computer locally or you can do both. I do both when I use the web-based version.
If you speak about these base volumes...file linked : here for 2016 Make not tested for 2017 Make...

Good luck!
Although you might not want to tell your "client" it's possible to do, you could use this same basic process to show other differences like various cabinet door styles or arrangements, or hardware or whatever.
Thanks and Prima Juju this comes out clean, smooth and soft like baby skin - thanks for this way that was not in my mind so far. Now I just have to figure out how to do that in my video editor I´ve never used this technique before
