Hi Again Figured it out, place the two doors (with separate "on click") within a component, have the main door reference the wrapper or parent, thus if you pick the small door it rotates or the larger door the whole lot rotates Cheers gate3.skp

Thanks, Box. Knew it was something simple. Didn't see anywhere in tutorials, etc. that wireframe would keep the tool from working. One of those "Duh" moments.

I bet you have a new monitor, or have changed your setup around recently. If that is the case and Carsten's suggestion doesn't work, try changing the position of your monitor, the model info window is probably hiding off screen.

I like my beginner level.

If you are applying flat components onto faces then you will get 'z-fighting'. Give the component correctly oriented axes and gluing/cutting behavior - it them 'removes' the face behind it, even as you move the instance... If you are applying it onto a face that is inside another component or group it cannot cut, so 'z-fighting' reappears. An Image never 'z-fights' even when applied onto another face directly. Depending on your object could a rectangular image be used inside the component definition ?
