Personally I'm not a fan of the trays either. However it is possible to create separate trays and position them as you want. For example I have a permanent floating tray with only Entity Info.

If you use the Sketchucation plugin store, you will later have the possibility to use the update function for installed plugins... Or if you update your SU version, you can use the bundle function to install fresh copies of all plugins with one click...

At one point I was working on a plugin to import a vector PDF directly into SketchUp as geometry, not an image. There were some unsurmountable technical issues (e.g. PDF has line with width, fill pattern, corner joins, and end caps which all have no equivalent in SketchUp). Also the sample PDFs people had at the time were sloppy, with lots of carelessly placed line segments that didn't match up. I don't need this for my own use, and there was no expression of interest on the forum, so I moved on to other things. If you would like, send me your file and I'll see what the plugin makes of it. Even with all it's flaws, I'd only go back to Autocad from Layout if I was really forced to do so. And rest assured that I'm a very very active critic of Layout... (But then again I'm also an active critic of my mother, my father, my wife, my three kids, and myself...)

Hi Arthur, hi folks. Maybe you can rename each scene with the hour. This wold work for an animation seen using SketchUp. Or use layers to make visible, in turn for each scene, a screen text showing the time for that particular scene. This would work for escorted animation. Just ideas.

That is most likely a result of the way the author of the plugin programmed the HTML for the web dialog, not a SketchUp issue per-se. It is possible to set things up in HTML so that a web page refuses to resize its contents.
