It still looks bad. For now, the solution I found for this, was to render the entire image, then reverse bump map and use render region to render only the mirror, and altough this does not fix the problem I can't even see why it happens to begin with, so it looks like I'm stuck with this solution.

Looks I didn't learn your plugin well enough. Thank you. For sub-components elswhere in the model - maybe a unique component would be created then?

For reinstalling ffmpeg, try to locate a file ffmpeg.exe in either your Sketchup Plugin directory or a folder C:\FFmpeg In principle, you should know or remember where you did put the file. Otherwise do a Search file in Windows. When it is located, delete it get a fresh copy of FFmpeg.exe put it somewhere on your PC Animator will find it if you put it in C:\FFmpeg or in the Sketchup plugin directory, or will ask you to locate it again Now, if you still get an empty mp4, Do you see the MP4 button in Red in the result dialog of the video generation? Are you rendering, or jsut generating the 'Natural' mode (no rendering)? Can you open the Ruby console before generating the video and check if there are erros (there should be traces)

Much better. I don't know what vray has for white balance, but that could help. I also use an all white color for a background image and that helps.

It turns out the culprit was the file I was working on. Vray works fine with any other file. Thanks anyway.

An app requests more memory allocation from the OS when it needs it. Perhaps vray has a preference setting to set or change a limit what it uses? So far as I know, there is no macOS way either to limit or to increase the amount of memory used by an app.
