The default location for loaded extensions is the Plugins menu [renamed Extensions menu in newer SketchUp versions. However it can become cluttered, and many authors choose other locations depending on what the tool does - favorites are Tools and Draw, but others can be under File and so on - but some are unexpected odd, e.g. my SectionCutFace only appears in the right-click context-menu if a single section-plane is selected... You must read the Usage notes for each extension you install... TrueTangents has its own thread - http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=160780#p160780 where its usage is discussed - access it using the More Info... button in the PluginStore... That page has a link to ttps://sketchucation.com/plugin/771-truetangents - its more detailed page at the PluginStore...

@fredo6 said: You can control the weight of the control point by mousewheeling on the small pin. This changes the curvature for the previous section. Thanks for the reply! I tried this, but it seems to change the "tension" value for the entire segment. I was hoping for controls like this: [image: 3qBJ_AnimationBrokenFree.png] This is from Unity, but most 2d and 3d packages have a similar UI. You can control the magnitude and direction of the tangent on each side of each segment endpoint. For a cubic bezier this corresponds to the "inner" two control points. It's a pretty standard UI .. is there some reason you didn't implement this in FredoSpline? Thanks! Tyler

Scooped it up early this morning. Took it for a short spin and it works great. Some new things to learn but the basics for grass are still there. More robust and faster. A lot of people were looking forward to this update. Thanks.

No, you shouldn't be putting them in Shipped Extensions. You should just do what Rich said and install them Using the Extension manager from the download folder.

@matte said: Good Day, Over the years I have created an extensive Library of things to cut and paste into my models. It's large enough to the point to where I am having problems picking the "right" part in a timely manner. For example when I want to add a table light to a scene. Style is very important.... When I “open the folder” that I have all my table lights in… there is “70 or 80” to choose from. The way I input a “Light” now is insert them one by one till I find something suitable. What I would like to know…. Is there some form of an Icon viewer where when I open the folder in windows with many Sketchup items in there… I see what they are without having to open them up one by one till I find something usable. Thanks Matte Also worth checking out Component Finder.

@millypatty said: Thanks I'll give it at try. This is the type of bedding I'm hoping to achieve. I've drawn the bed but I have imported the bedding and it doesn't fit well to the bed frame. Which is why I want to recreate it myself. Will the method you have outlined help me to achieve this look? Does this example look like it was created in Clothworks? I am not sure if this was created with ClothWorks. This puffiness effect looks nice and so far, with ClothWorks, it was only applied to creating pillows. With regards to bedsheets, I currently have no understanding of how to replicate this effect. To support this kind of puffiness effect, I believe there needs to be a soft body simulation support. Right now, it's just flat sheets.

What rendering engine are you using? I use Thearender and it allows for the lines from Sketchup to merge with the rendering. There are times I only want the lines for certain elements, so I composite different renderings in a photo editor to get the results I'm looking for.

[image: g4DN_Shadows_quest_pico.png] Shadows can improve visual appearance of 3D models significantly. On low end devices likes Quest (Stand alone), Pico, Android, and iOS, shadow calculation can reduce responsivity of the device, which may affect the quality of the VR experience. That is why shadows are turned off by default on those devices to give the user the ability to run larger VR experiences. If the user knows models can run fine with shadows on, on those devices, shadow can be enabled by setting shadow quality to high [image: fLUx_shadows_on_quest_plugin.png] Note: To have shadows working, make sure to install the latest viewer on your device from the free VR Viewer page

Also note that many of thomthom's extensions need you to install his TT_Lib 'helper' file... https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=TT_Lib So download and install that too... Restart SketchUp after installing any Lib's RBZ so that everything gets properly synced... Fredo's extensions are another example where a Lib needs to be installed too...
