You shouldnt be looking that down. Oh, and pls for the love of good try to refrain from using a laptop for drawing ,etc. Get an adjustable height CAD LCD screen.

Just tried uploading a simple, 20 second model and everything went as normal. I remember my only problems in the past with uploading models were with my virus protection software. SU wasn't authorised to upload to the internet and that was causing the problem.

It sounds like you've got it. And, yes, even though Layer 0 is shown as visible, the primitives won't show if the component/group "wrappers" have different layer associations and those layers are turned off. Think of a Romulan Bird of Prey with its cloaking device turned on. The ship is still there. You just don't see it. And a sure way to drive yourself crazy is to make other layers active.

bonjour.......une chose a savoir c est que vray bouffe énormément de mémoire et SU fonctionne encor en 32 bit il n est pas optimisé et en plus de cela les programmeurs ne se sont pas vraiment fatigué pour fiabiliser la gestion de la mémoire de SU Donc il faut limiter au maximum toutes sorte de textures de photos etc.....ou bien réinstaller tout bien proprement

I did as you said and removed all render related rb files and it appears to have done the trick. I did not have to re-install SU so maybe I think that Render[in] 2 clashed with my other render programs, I had Podium and Shaderlight installed. Anyhow all's well and thanks again for your help. I wonder if AD plans to bundle this with AutoCAD Mac like they do with AutoCAD on the PC? That is that you get Inventor Fusion with your copy of AutoCAD.

Thanks for the response Mike. But I will suggest that even before I sign a contract on a job, I like to tell my "future" clients that "I'm looking forward to working with them". Regardless, of the closing date, it looks, as far as I can tell, like a "done deal". (apology's for all the quotation marks). Honestly, I hope the deal is closed soon, so we SU users can get a better handle on how it will affect us. Chris
