Sad days or good days ahead?

I am not really sure what to make of this.I have a few Questions
-
What will happen to Vray for sketchup.
-
Are there plans to continue the plugin scheme.
3)Does Trimble plan to improve on Sketchup or use newly acquired IP
rights to start a new software?I feel a little scared inside because from experience with acquisition, promises are never really kept.

You didn't really explain what you where talking about until towards the end of the thread... Helps to start of with the actual topic.
Regardless, there's a loooong thread here on the topic: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=44881@fuzzion said:

Devin said that they see no reason for much to change. They will keep working on VfSU.

Appears so. Their announcement said they want to continue with SketchUp as a platform. So I think/hope it might in fact make it better.

If they'll change the SketchUp package? Who knows... The SketchUp team has said that SketchUp will be SketchUp.Have a look at the thread I linked to. Any information out there on the topic will be referred to there.
