Now I know that I can share the link with Fredo6 on the Animator thread so he can download the file and look at it (to hopefully identify the problem I have been having trying to generate a video). You might also try generating an Animator video and see what results you get.

    Hey guys I am desperate for very high resolution/quality satellite maps, I use Placemaker and I also use Nearmap but the resolution is not that great, I have tried using AI to upscale but that too does not really solve my issues. Is there another solution?

    Hey Mike, I'm sure you figured this out already, but when you first create the attribute type a number with the inch mark like 0" or 0' in the value box and hit enter. This will set the unit for that attribute to inches. This only works for the first time a value is entered. After that first initial value, you will need to use the attribute info dialog to make changes. In addition, you can use 0 to set it to text (not "Default: Text") and 0cm to set it to centimeters. If anyone knows a shortcut for setting the unit to Decimal Number, I would love to hear it!

    The roller coaster project is officially "over" - it was a gigantic success! Sorry this photo is very poor quality but it gives you an idea what some of the students did. This photo does not show all the roller coasters. Only four groups attempted the Round & Round - it was the most difficult, I think. [image: OLcQ_roller_coasters_010.jpg]

    i could do with a converter aswell. use pro6 at work and 5 pro in work. for the times i forget to save as v5, it would come in handy unless anyone will resave for me as v5?.... just have to remember more often...

    Edson, try adjusting the view slightly (orbit, pan, zoom), also the field of view...and if you can stand the inaccuracy: the scale of the texture. A little bit of play can change the effect quite a bit. I have noticed also that sometimes it shows in the export, as you would expect, but sometimes it doesn't...?

    Walter, I do not posses a magic script (ruby).....But I can offer a Speed Square. Yeah I know.....not what your after.....but in the mean time give it a try. And if you have never used one before, it's pretty straight forward(see attached). Using the speed square component,align the pivot pt and rotate until vertical or horizontal.(maybe a bit oversimplifying... I know).     You kidding me? Had to put up my one and only (third-hand) C40 as collateral for my shed! Just keep hoping carbon fiber and Campagnolo lasts forever. Being married, I end up putting more miles on the Trek tandem than on the solo. But it's all fun. Todd

    I think you just want to change .zip to .skm But I have never done this before so give that a try. Or just download the entire material bonus pack. There are some goodies in there.

OK, we can stretch it vertically, but often, my list of groups fills the entire window. No white space. Clicking in the white space to the side of a group selects that group. If we could simply click on the top-level model name to deselect everything (like you can in Windows)...I think it was CraigD who agreed this should be implemented, but that was over a year ago... There are a LOT of problems with the Mac Outliner...but that's for another place... Oh, and thanks for the tip, Johnny!
