Hey guys
I am desperate for very high resolution/quality satellite maps, I use Placemaker and I also use Nearmap but the resolution is not that great, I have tried using AI to upscale but that too does not really solve my issues.
Is there another solution?
Please search on sketchucation for a plugin which make sketchup layer transform to sketchup materials. Revit export .dwg and generate layers like Wall, Glas, Frame ...These layers remain when import to sketchup. That will help you quickly paint the whole model in the first step.

Is there a way to copy a component axis from one component to another?
I'm not sure if i understand what you want, but to copy the axes you could copy/paste the component with the correct axes or make a dummy component and copy the geometry of the wrong oriented components into the new one (cut+paste - and after making it unique). Or copy a group instead of the component and turn it into a component later, if you need it.
The size of the component axes can't be changed i think.
Alas... that is the life of a plugin developer... You have to roll with the changes of the host program. I will say, though that SketchUp did an excellent job of alerting us to the upcoming changes and gave developers plenty of time to make changes before 2014 was released. Not all software companies give their API users that much time to get compliant before releases!
Hi Jeff, no, I wasn't getting the cursor in the input field, so I couldn't assign anything, but I've just checked again now (on my mac book ) and it's working fine again, so I don't know what happened. But thanks, all is well! best regards.
FYI,
SketchUcation Tools 2.6 allows you to open the plugins folder....

...you can also install plugins and extensions using the...
SketchUcation Tools > SketchUcation Archive Installer

i can't duplicate what you're saying.. and i guess i'm not entirely clear on how you're working.
it's possible you have a corrupt file somewhere but before i start recommended resetting them, i'd like to know what happens if you do this:
menu -> Restart...
make sure the box "Reopen windows when logging back in" is unchecked..
click 'Restart'
let the computer boot back up and launch SketchUp..
what happens?
do all the recent files open or is there only a single blank document which opens?

You won't get a list of commands. Hold Ctrl while clicking and dragging tools from other native toolbars to the new, custom toolbar(s). This custom toolbar thing only works with the native tools. Open all the native toolbars that contain tools you want on your new toolbars and drag over the tools you want. Then close those native toolbars leaving custom toolbars open.
Got it. Thanks.

If you open SketchUp first then the SKP the $: will be fine and you won't get that error message.
This is fine for me... the rest I guess I do not understand
Thanks a lot!
Thank you all.
I had copied the window out of a larger model and I was amazed about the thousands of edges. After I had exloded the whole component the problem was solved.
