      Hi,

I've just finished loading all my plugins onto my imac & Mac book, but now I can't assign shortcuts, to any of the new plugins but also the standard ones, on either the imac or mac book. The command initially goes blue when I select it, but then immediately goes grey, and I can't assign anything. I had added some since upgrading to SU 14, so it was working, but now it seems not to be......any ideas what's happened or what I'm doing wrong?

      Thanks, Sally

      Mac, Mavericks, SU 14

yeah, that's right.. the command is blue as long as you're pressing and/or holding the cursor on the command name.. once you release the mouse/trackpad button, it turns grey and the focus/cursor moves to the input field below the command list..
are you not getting a flashing cursor in the input field upon clicking on the command?

are you by chance trying to assign a keystroke using the command key? sketchup no longer allows a custom shortcut to be made with ⌘ as a modifier key.

Hi Jeff, no, I wasn't getting the cursor in the input field, so I couldn't assign anything, but I've just checked again now (on my mac book ) and it's working fine again, so I don't know what happened. But thanks, all is well! best regards.
