Sketchup 2016 required some modifying to get this to work (Windows 7). This loader would not run for me. To fix, I had to first install this extension from the warehouse. Next, I had to install the rotated box and cylinder tools from the warehouse. Third, I had to rename/delete the .rb files in the 3Pts_Tools folder and replace them w/ the installed copies from my plugins folder. Those copies do NOT have the same name(3Pts_Tools puts a 'M' on the end of the file names) so you have to make sure you name the .rb's w/ that M on the end or edit the loader .rb to reflect the lack of an 'M' in the file name. Restart sketchup and the toolbar should appear. This set of steps will suffice until a new package w/ the up-to-date .rb's is posted. I did NOT attempt to do rotated rectangle as sketchup comes with that tool built in as of Sketchup 2015.

could be 'Round Corner' by Fredo is your friend... when this is your solution here a little step by step mark the face of the type. use offset inside or outside. push/pull the additional face select the face offset again select the inner half face 7 use round corner (sharp corner Blue icon) 8 set one face 9 move your mouse pointer outside your selection a green check mark apear. than click. the plugin generate now your faces 10.group the face this will appear after working. offset the face now you have the same like in the attached SKP [image: rXUo_2015-11-14_19h12_09.png] [image: YS4f_2015-11-14_19h12_28.png] obnet_v14_new.skp

The word "dass" after the comma in the first snrnce needs to be written with one s - das.

It is looking for a file to 'require' that is called: /bin32/binary Unless there is a file in that named subfolder [in the Plugins folder or other folder listed in the $: ], then using that file-path will fail... I don't have this plugin... Assuming you installed exactly as its instructions... I suspect that the binary.so file within the bin32 folder is compiled to 32bit and you are using 64bit or an old [unsupported] XP version ?? If so contact the author directly to see if there's a 'bit-ness' fix in the pipeline...

hey cool this cold be a solution. question is, is this than a new object group? when not its better the plugin-in generate a new color what i have never had before. so i can choose this new generated polys by material and group this. in your animation i cant see how it work for frontside polys (white).

That's close, and actually a pretty cool plugin. But I'd like the list attribute with the color swatch to be part of the SketchUp Materials Window that pops up. That way I can select from the list the correct material by name while I'm adding color to parts of the model. The Material Maintenance window that pops up does not let you pick a color to add directly to the model, it's for consolidating and replacing colors, which will be useful too. My need for this is partially due to the fact that I don't see certain colors well, so some look really similar to me. With the addition of the name to the color, it helps ensure that I'm picking the right "green" or "yellow" (or whatever material I need). I hope that explains it better?

Finaly i achieve the plugin for a straight stair. It's easier and it's a good way to learn ruby.
