    If you just want to make image you have no need to make elaborate UV! Modern renderer can make render directly! Where you see default on the image following on the "vertical flat surface" ? (even it's complicated automatic splits by SketchUp itself) [image: 7rZw_toc1.jpg]

    Tested dibac and removed it after an hour of testing too complex working only in 2d initially. does not easily allow for change limited elements or components, have to work to build up your own. My current preference is for LSS Arch Lite LSS Arch Lite by Kirill B https://extensions.sketchup.com/en/content/lss-arch-lite Combined with LSS Zone it provides flexible tools for sketch design and design development before leaping into one's program of choice for contract documentation.

    Several of the my "EEby" tools were unexpectedly broken by the way v2017 handles its entities' IDs when exploding a temporary group etc. I have managed to fix almost all of the wayward code [keeping backward compatibility], however there are a few minor issues outstanding and the beta-testing to complete - I have been out of the loop for a week or two with family matters, but I hope to get back onto fixing these tools asap...

I'm not worried though, I'll use Lightwave or MAX to create simple/complex curves and Export/Import .obj/.3ds objects into SU2017 (an extra 3 steps, but hardly worth whining about). I agree with ya, wait and see if Sketchup's Team fixes the API issue (It'll save you development time to focus on things more important). -Terry

    Nifty Plug. Doesn't update real time. It is a small step up over the original leader tool as it is possible to update. However, the fact that I have to dig in into the component to update cancels all the fun. Ideally, 1.it would place a disconnected tag (so it always floats in the corner). 2. Give real time update 3. able to reference total material area. 4. Tag without getting into the component
