Thanks for responding. I'm a kitchen designer and a very experienced SU user. I use it 4-5 hrs a day for the last 5 years. All that being said, it's working now, 6 hours later. Nothing has changed except the time. I have no idea what is different or what happened. Do you think it could be operating system issue? When this all began,I checked the copy/paste function in a Word doc and it was fine. Anyway, thanks again for trying to help-whatever you did, it worked!

Imported files can also be "fixed" - there's just a couple of things to take care: when importing, check out the import options and make sure NOT to preserve drawing origin. While there, make sure to import with the correct scales finally if the imported group has its origin somewhere etremely out - it can happen if there is some reference geometry there in the original CAD file - delete that geometry, explode the group and while everything is selected, regroup again. Always a good way to use Zoom extents (Shift+Z) to see how "large" your model is. If you seem to zoom out too far away, there is some problematic geometry somewhere. Press Ctrl+A to select all and see what is highlighted blue (beside your model) to identify the culprit.

Tom, I understand your frustration as a service provider, but I wouldn't want the State buy new cars just because the old ones don't have a video camera providing a view backing up. Aren't the Brit's currently climbing out of one of the worlds worst economic turn downs? Hope you can "hang in there" until things get better.

I've posted to the RenderIN website as well this issue is a complete problem for windows users. Has RenderIN made a fix for this to anyones knowledge?

I just spent the last 3 hrs getting back to where I was from a previous autosave file, and now the new file is doing the exact same thing... I can't even open the file any more. Help, FB

Update: The problem is fixed, thanks to Bryce S over at Google He had me delete a certain file in my Library->Pref->com.google whatever... but it's fixed now, and that reset the SU8 user interface Thanks you guys for giving it a shot!

Yep, already did the purge/check, no problems found. Yes, Milfot - I did have a similar occurrence where some edges were translated into the distance from a curved surface. It always happened after saving, I had to delete the offending edges and rebuild the section of model. It hasn't repeated since, but it was on a curved surface as yours was too.

I would guess that the feature is incompatible with the x-ray mode. You can just re-select your saved style from the styles browser to turn back edges back on, no need to rebuild the style. Changing style-related settings and then changing the settings back seems to leave the style flagged as "changed". Anssi

Sigh..Still not able to export even a new 60 frame video. Don't know about MS media player. Would it affect creating a new video? Still I will try the flush. Addenda 1: Nope ipconfig /flushdns didn't work. As lame as it sounds, I am hopping that the next Win auto upgrade will fix it. Something like that happened before, when my browser screen went *(&%$, I reloaded a upgrade, the upgrade failed, but the screen straightened out. I said "lame", didn't I
