See the cutaway exterior wall. It was drawn with the freehand pencil tool. Additionally make a few small rock components that you can scatter across the top of wall, at the base of walls and randomly on the ground near the walls. [image: lzIm_bath_preview_sm.jpg]

i dunno, kerky on mac is pretty gross. you know you have to have X11 installed for it to work, right? it's a great example of a bad port. i guess if you're used to using windows then you won't mind it.

Not the expert on this, but it's simple to make a SU plugin that can run other programs, read, and write externally files. SU can communicate with the outside world in this way. There are probably more sophisticated ways that others might be able to point out.

if they are the same rhing I did in jr high 16 000 years ago, they are little cars that have a hole bored in the back to receive a CO2 pellet (the kind used in a pellet gun or something). The starter is a gadget that pops a hole in 2 cars' cartridges at once and the gas pushes the little cars along a string or track. It's pretty fun.

At the end, before applying the (already sampled) texture, you click into the material browser thus clearing the sampled texture. Do not click in there just paint with what you already sampled from the positioned/projected face before. The sampler is to sample textures from other faces, not from the material browser (and re-read what I wrote above, too).

Gaieus, It's from 'Dynamic Area Calculations' started by Dennis N; http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=31021. And as Jeff said, it's not a ruby as I thought. Have you(or anyone else) developed this further?

@Gaieus: Saw Jeff's response. Feel like a total idiot. @ TIG: It was in a post of 'dynamic areas', but as Jeff pointed out, it's not a ruby. Sorry 'bout all the confusion. Thanks for the replies guys

After making the changes in the style in SU, make sure to update the style (there is a round arrow in the style dialog). Also, best is to use scenes for a LO export where the scenes are updated (after you update the style), too.

You can even leave the wires as standalone edges (delete the faces if they create one) as GE (if you intend to export it there) will display those. This would only cause headaches if you mean to render it in some PR rendering application.

Go to Window > Styles > (in the style browser) In model > Edit > Face style > and set the transparency rendering from fast to either medium or nicer. This helped to display it better on my Windows system (although I also leave it on faster for modelling but for final renders, you may wish to set it to something better).

For that, it is indifferent if you use pro or free. When you are in a parallel projection > top (standard) view, make sure to create a scene (View menu > Animation > Add scene) and once you inadvertently navigate out of this top view, just click on the scene tab and it will get you back. You can also use 3D components (furniture and such) to populate your 2D floor plans but if you only want to use 2D components, make sure they are set to glue to a horizontal plane and also that they cut a hole in their gluing plane otherwise you will experience some nasty Z-fighting between the floor face and the component face being on the same plane/space.

Hi Shack (and all), Even if you are a new member (with some moderated posts at the beginning - sorry for that but we need this against spammers), you should be able to access attachments with no issues when you are logged in. Make sure that you have cookies enabled and if the problem persists, try to delete your sketchucation related cookies in your browser (and for God's sake, do NOTuse Internet Explorer as it is a nightmare to get rid of cookies there...)
