Hi Gully
The chairs look nice and comfortable and the table would appear to extend. Did you make this yourself?
I'm tempted to ask Coen if the woodworkers on this site could maybe have a shed to play in, and maybe talk about methods of making etc.
Pass on a few tips etc.
Any views on that?
That would be really nice, because I might be soon to start a project, and i am all for any tips or suggestions that may alter my design to make it look better or be more useful.
I have the model and have only sort of started dimensioning out individual pieces in my rather unprofessional way so I know what I need to make.

I'm curious, did you use the soapskin ruby plugin to make the body of this fine violin?
Sorry, Will, I almost missed the question.
No, it was pretty much hand-stitched.
Thanks,

Well you could always print a list with a thumbnail with dimensions on it. Or something.
Then again Ive never been much to organize... anything at all in fact.
I would use a night HDRI for the environment and GI. The rect lights in your building may need to be turned up in order to get the glow you want. My suggestion is to play with a test model using just a box with a 'window' cut out and try the methods described above to see what gets the effect you are looking for.

. . . that site will go dead soon...
thanks
I must be missing something. Google's 3D warehouse closing down? Or have you found that links to it don't last?
What am I missing?
