This was only an experiment. I found some images from "clean png" site and conerted it to a DXF using https://convertio.co/png-dxf/, I thought that particular png was extremely complex but now I will look for a less complex subject for my experiment.
I think this method of converting a raster image into a DXF and then importing into SU has some promise though.

Check faces are correctly orientated in SketchUp and apply material in SketchUp to it. Or Give the face a color as a marker that you can then change in TM. Face's must be oriented the right way.

Thanks Bryan 😄 I find that I get hypercritical of my work as I gain competance this was a challange and a half experimenting with the glass. but worth it, I think

I tried many maps, was not convincing though. I used this one from "filter forge" worked well. It was designed for mirrors.

Thanks Markd, yes the darker colour works better for the compostion, but the main thing was overcomming the over exposure in that area by filtering the light with trees. Such a simple fix but was not obvious at the time 😉

Second last test render. Getting the graffiti to work with the brick normals map was a big learning curve for me. I think one more tweak. Not the image I was aiming at but I think it works. Just a screen shot to fit for sketchucation resolution/image size.

Thanks guys, I worked out the value input of the power of the preservation of a flat face.

I'd be happy with an included (not plugin) fillet and chamfer tool. Yes, I have the plugins and I also know about the arc trick.

Thank you, I agree it flys straight through "Walls" without an issue unlike native SU I will use it just based upon that. I find scrolling through SU Su walls infuriating, and a source of RSI on the mouse wheel finger 😉

You left click, hold and drag on the first point and when your release left button on second point you lock rotational plane.
