Epic makes such good acquisitions then immediately lowers prices. Reality Capture is free is you are under 1mil in revenue. It's safe to say that's the majority of the users. The have repeated this price lowering for every acquisition. They'll be #1 player in visualisation eventually. I wouldn't be surprised if they launched a modelling environment at some point too.

@Rich-O-Brien The tree exist on the site and are size and species correct. so had to put them in for the client as they will be part of the aesthetic.

@jo-ke said: Beautifull render. I can feel the mood. Is it the Twinmotion moon? unfortunately the moon in twinmotion is to big, it should be a little smaler. I hope they will change it in future. I would add a little unperfection in the lamps, may be one or two a slightly rotated. Cheers jo-ke, good advice mate, It is a WIP though, there are many things wrong with it. I need to swap out the lamps and give them a bit of dirt. I need to space the lamps at a greater distance and make them less aligned and add a bit of rotation. Will replace the fence posts for smaller, slimmer cast iron pillars......................................... But thank you, I think the atmosphere is on point and worth investing more time with.

Thanks heaps Rich I do not know why I have an aversion to plugins, to my detriment I expect. Though I will download clothworks but the wait time to receive the plugin did not work with my workflow. Did you do the cable with the follow me tool? I did not see your post in time, but thank you very much for it. I ended up figuring out my own way which turned out OK. I have attached an image of my methodology which basically was to do a 2d follow me and the slice it and rotate the segment and then join them. Sounds fiddly but in fact was quite easy. @rich o brien said: You probably already noted it but the leaves need some love. They look radioactive. It's also hard to decipher what shapes are happening on that rear wall structure. There's definitely some curved elements based on the shadowing here... [image: 30LMb0y.png] But the rest of it seems hidden. Maybe a clay pass to just dial in the lighting first. Big open spaces like this deserve dramatic lighting. I would actually nuke the tree and stick a gobo behind the camera to cast shadows. Looks good though Lighting will be key, good suggestion on the clay render for lighting. That is a very rough sketch to look at the composition so the tree does not have the application of maps on the leaves. On applying textures would I use projected textures, will the normal maps pick up on that?

@mike amos said: It looks as though rendering is going through a once a decade shift, so many ?AI? render sites/programs etc are coming on stream so the next basic toolset might just include a bluddy dictionary........ How many old stle render resources will still be here within the next two years? Twilight is gone now and others like Maxwell have glacial development lead times while the current ethos appears to be constant change. This is one of the main reason why I'm more and more specializing in very specific stuff, detailed/animated objects, custom shapes and textures, optimized models for VR/AR/realtime/web, teaching 3d for VR developers and all this kind of technical-oriented stuff. Where i live the "classic" render market is already bloated with people working fast, but at really bad quality and underwaged, possibly cracking software and avoiding taxes in most cases. So i think AI will make not a big difference for me (at least in the next few years), right now is a problem of those sloppy "collegues". I'm done with that market, their analog stupidity has already screwed that well before AI was even a thing. The only option I found to survive is doing those "hard" stuff that they can't or want not learn to do.. I hardly recall the last time I did a "classic" architectural still render
