300DPI is standard for print, however as pointed out definitely get that logo as a vector, you may want to re-use it elsewhere in the future so it's best to have it scaleable, and if you are paying for it then certainly it's standard to get it in that format. There is a very quick trick in Photoshop to convert raster graphics to vector so it should only take him a few mins if he did not originally draw it in Illustrator or as a Vector elsewhere.

Pres, I always resize them, usually to 2000 pix wide, I do this to get rid of the jaggies. But I'll play around with your suggestions about the line weight! I've never messed around with the depth cue before so I'll give that a try too. Thanks for that advice!

Do you think he is being truthful or not? By showing your version of the picture we respond to your vision of the story. Does his version hold any ground? Doing what Baz said could either ruin his carreer from the start if he is starting. This kind of delays are typical from someone starting on his line of business, or typical of someone trying to con you. They could also be related to many other things... I tried that same beam connection skp and got 56k too, so my other elevation file must have more 'data' on it.

Maybe the problem is I was exporting a 2d image? I tried Export> 3d Model> dwg, no splat, but a terrible image, looks like a wireframe and the text is messed up. [image: cPbc_3d.jpg]

Geeze why does this have to be so complicated? I'm lost, does it hurt to just leave it all as is, with wrong file paths? As long as I can draw and export images it's OK with me.

The trial might have export limitations for sure, but I cant see why. There is usually a printer set up dialogue box! Or it could be using the native built in PDF printer on your system and you haven't set this! BTW Layout is VERY easy!

Click on the file folder icon to the right and choose the desired location for the file.
