Nice work. I bet you can think of other applications for images with transparency. I did this template a while back for work for a specific client. The white background is actually a white to transparent gradient png I made in PaintDotNet and inserted onto the bottom-most layer in the layers stack. It can be easily edited if I need to change it or I can remove or replace it altogether. The cyan line above the logo is just there as a guide to prevent me from putting model related content below it. The line's layer gets turned off before export to PDF. Box is correct. If the image is left as an image, it will remain visible when you are editing a group or component. If you import it as a material (or import as an image and immediately explode the image which converts it to a material) the material won't be visible if it is outside the context of the group/component being edited. I've seen some tutorials showing the importing of images to use as references where the advise it to immediately explode the image and then group the geometry. I've never understood the reasoning for the added steps, especially if the image is only a reference and will not be used as a material.

Thanks Tig for your additional explanation - well, we are a decentralised company and I am always connected to the servers in this company with my computer. I load my files from these servers and save them there as well. When I am in the office, I have the server right around the corner. At the moment, however, I have been in home office for a few months. (as already mentioned, before SkUp 2021, this phenomenon never occurred for me)

... again an other simple playing with geometry, done with a set of equal cube-components (21 x 21) and it´s transformation options. Here again using Alexander Schreyer's "Scale By Tools" plugin for their automated pyramid-like distribution. After that I essentially used Julia Eneroth's so cool plugins "Random Select" to form random groups, which I made unique each time and "Erode" to achieve any "rocklike" appearance. thank you - this good news is encouraging. I too am dependent on an IT department with my company´s notebook. Due to also Corona-related many much much more important issues these people have to master, my concern was not important enough so far. Since the update to SU 2022 is coming up soon, I will keep an eye on this topic.
