      Hi All
I'm certainly not a newbie 😳 but I'm opting for this newbie section of this forum in this case because I just bought the latest Sketchup 2023 Pro (1-year subscription) for my personal use.
I have never done this privately before as I have always used SkUp 2017 Make so far. And since all my company's current pro versions are installed and managed by the companyΒ΄s it department I have no idea what I have to do now...

      My (first) 3 questions are
      1.
the purchase of the Pro version worked perfectly - but where do I get the software from? I can't find a download link anywhere.
      2.
Where can I get the licence key (or is there another way of activating)?
      3.
How can I control that I get an English language version then?

Best & thank you very much for any support πŸ–

When you login at sketchup.com there's a dashboard area where all your entitlements are. So you can download .exe, manage devices and more....

Then scroll all the way to the bottom of the sketchup.com site and click the Do Not Sell My Info and submit the form so your data remains your commodity.

          download either
from the SketchUp download area (Trimble ID req.)
          https://www.sketchup.com/download/all
          or the SketchUp Help Center
          https://help.sketchup.com/en/downloading-sketchup
or the SketchUp license portal at the page "My Products" (Trimble ID req.):
          https://www.sketchup.com/download/my-apps

Where can I get the licence key (or is there another way of activating)?

there is no license data (serial no./auth. code) required anymore since the discontinuation of the perpetual license ('Classic') in 2020, for activating the recent subscription license your registered email address is used. Ensure that you have confiremd the initial Welcome email from Trimble ("Manage Account") from the date of purchase for doing this.

How can I control that I get an English language version then?

for Windows the new Common Installer does contain all languages as well as several additions/plugins already (thus that big), select the desired language in the second dialogue.

Thank you Both so much for all these helpful tips and, above all, for your patience.
With your guidance above I have actually got the thing up and running!!! πŸ‘

...yet another beginner's question from me (how embarrassing!)

              Hi All again πŸ˜‰
now that I have the new Sketchup and the extensions relevant to me up and running, I would like to purchase the Fredo6 tool bundle and again I'm failing to do it although I have already done this somehow some years before.
I know that I need the latest Libfredo and I know where I can download the Fredo6 tool. What I don't find out is: how and where do I buy the licences for it?

again, Best & thanks for any support πŸ–

wonderful and thank you again Rich - your first link is exactly what I was looking for and without your link I still wouldn't be able to find it myself.
(Yes, I bought a Fredo6 bundle already, but these licences are used up in the company where I work. I would now like to buy and use the new licences for myself...

(if you hadn't sent me this link - how could I find there myself?)

@HornOxx we have yet to complete the menu for this new forum.

But if you visit our homepage and hover the PluginStore menu you can access Buy Extensions.

I'll add it to these forums next week. It's Paddys Weekend here so I'm enjoying the extended weekend.

Now that I've thought more you can actually also buy from within SketchUp. If you open the license dialog for any extension that requires a license there a purchase button there.

🀣 ouch me! - you meant the original page, of course.
I had already updated the link to your new page and the obvious disappeared from my perception
