Google's intent is to support dxf/dwg in the Pro version Collada import is "only" going to be an additional tool for Pro users while it will be a "change" (from dwg/dxf) for Free users.

Yes thanks, a glitch is the word I was looking for. To fix it I deleted the styles folder from "C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 7\Styles" then reran SU7 setup and chose the repair option. This worked fine though I didnt have a lot of custom styles so didnt need to worry about loosing them. For anyone trying this do a backup of the files first. In the future if I want to copy styles I will open the folder they are located in within the styles window and drag them into a new or existing collection. The problem seems to occur when you drag and drop within windows. Must loose a link???? Cheers, David.

Aha, then it means that those models are already on the constant 3D Layer in GE! I didn't even know they were changing the models... What changes are there anyway? There is an isue that images (photos) lose quality after the upload but other than that I now about nothing else. Maybe ask Craig - for a while he used to be a quality controller (or what) of uploaded material and he could be of more help maybe.

My Maine Coon cat Fred is 17 now. He is part of my login name BTW. Before he ran away, Boo was my wife's cat. Fred is my cat and our last name is Lay. Fred is declawed but is an indoor/outdoor cat. He used to be about 18 pounds but is now only 12 pounds. His health is good but he has arthritis as he cannot jump on the couches anymore. Now he just walks up and looks at you until you pick him up. He is my monster and loves to fight. His mouth will wrap almost all the way around my wrist with teeth showing. He is a lap cat as well, loves to snuggle. His new nickname is house payment. He recently had an abcess on his side and needed medical attention. Poor boy. The hardest part of his recovery was keeping him inside before the stitches were taken out. The only problem with the dots.style is that the entire model changes. By the way, there is also a script which will change the XLines that juju mentioned back to regular lines. Very anoying that there was no good warning. I wouldn't have updated downloaded and installed the update. Anyone have a link to instructions for completely removing the updated and reinstalling the old version. Windows 7 64bit machine? the simplie control panel unistall doesn't get the job done. Thanks,

@Irteza What Plugin are you referring to ?*** DAE export is a standard built-in format ?? You can set up how the exported file is made using the Options in the File>Export[3d] dialog... This is a very old thread... Please [re]explain what you are doing step-by-step... ***I see you double posted ! Again that's an old thread... Try running it with the Ruby Console open and report errors... I suggest you consolidate your posted into the plugin's thread...
