I don't see the anti-piracy bit; on the contrary I think they are playing straight into their hands. If hackers can find their way onto commercial servers, adobe being the most recent, what chance have they got to stop or even detect multiple fake or hijacked logins? It is made even harder to detect by virtue of being able to login on any machine from any location. Maybe Autodesk are planning to pay us all back for their arrogance by making the software free that should beat the pirates...

I have had a lot of problems with components messing around, renaming randomly and not allow me to have the same names for different components.Components are not very convenient when You have huge library with the same components in different hierarchy levels and try to mix them in a single project, make copies and etc.So far groups are working flawlessly except redrawing - so I will continue adding onclick redraw to each group. Thanks.

Thanks TIG. I just discovered this and I'm shocked - this can be what I have been looking for a long time - to put a data in the groups, but without the hassle of the components!

I suspect it's because the 3ds version doesn't save out the soft property of the edges. Certainly useful to know what formats preserve quads when transferring into SketchUp. Think I'll add a routine into Quad Tools to convert triangulated quads separated by a hidden edge into soft edges. Seems it would be a operation often required if people want to take quad meshes from other applications into SketchUp.

Also this is super basic... but it's worth mentioning -- when you turn the Shadows on and off in Sketchup you are enabling or disabling the sun in your Maxwell environment... regardless of whether you had it initially turned on in the Maxwell settings. Best, Jason.

Yes, that is what I'm using now even without a spreadsheet - generate report is doing this. But i have a lot of attributes and they differ - so it is hard to find what is needed.
