It installs a hidden plugin for each version of SU it finds... if you installed it before you installed v16, then it couldn't find it and won't function in v16... A complete reinstall of the driver does insure v16 gets a copy of the plugin... and as your not on a mac, it shouldn't crash and burn your computer like it does on mine... although, Box has had a few problems on his PC of late... john

I don't believe Windowizer has been updated for a few years. You could try contacting the author at Smustard.com. As for being unsigned, that would only be an issue if you set extension loading permissions to the strictest setting.

I expect the dimension in your first screen shot is on a layer lower in the list than the viewport. I always keep dimension and other text layers above the layers I put viewports on. As for the section plane, you may have turned it off in SketchUp but I'm guessing you didn't update the scene's style. Section plane visibility state is a style setting. You can turn it on or off without updating the style but then the state doesn't get transmitted to layout. Section cut lines are not snappable edges. You can place a section cut face or create a group at the section cut to get edges and corners you can snap to. Sometimes I just use guidelines to create snap points. Then I delete them when finished.

Ok. I'm now getting around to configuring the LO2016 like my LO2015 as in the image in my OP. So I accept that I have to rebuild my toolbars. At least I have the image of the tools to follow. However, I can't find where to add the icons that I made. Options to edit icons are grayed out on commands that don't already have a button. If I recall, in 2015 there was an option to assign icons. Where is it?

Hi Massimo This returns same place. There is plugins folder but nothing but su standard extensions. I think I will have to reinstall Su and see what happens. Thanks.

Just install the SCF Plugin Store on your other computer, log in and give it a few moments to connect. Then click on the gear and go to Bundles. Select the bundle you want to install and install it. Check the EW, too if you've gotten any extensions from there.

FYI IMSI DoubleCAD XT was a 2D CAD application, that could be plugged into SketchUp (like Layout can be.) It ran embedded Ruby, and had a clone of SketchUp's API. I've used the tool with a preselection of one group with many subgroups, you too? The tool have many different options, I would suggest to watch Fredos video to see the different possibilities...
