Also, this is why often, when doing the"modelling" (building) part of the work, with l;arger models it's better to turn textures off completely. If you are in monochrome model, at least you can see what's front and what's back face. This (and a couple of other tricks like turning off shadows or "hide the rest of the model" while working on a detailed component) can speed up work even with a slower computer.

However, my first guess would be the ATI graphics card. Do a test by turning off Hardware Acceleration (Window>Preferences>OpenGL). Its a hit and miss affair to find a graphics driver version that works, but you could try it. No problem. We are all detectives here. SP is not the "easiest" plugin to use but I'm sure you can do whatever you want with it once you get the hang of it. AFAIK it can already do magnetism.

Sure, why not (if I understand well). After all, for the section cuts to get animated, you need to use scenes and certainly nothing stops you to change the camera position as well as active section planes between two, given scenes. All you can do normally is to use the Move and the Rotate tools to get things aligned. Sometimes you need to Scale things to perfectly align endpoint to endpoint of different shapes. Where exactly have you got stuck?

I am a beginner, but I can't help my self... It looks like a miss-placed section plane.. try to set section planes on in the view toolbar... Hope that I am right

well the bottom is not rounded..only the edges are rounded...but u had the top correct but the roof has to be more stood up...u might wanna look at that sleeper more closely...and get a better view of it..but u have thee idea, it needs to be 48" long, and im not sure how wide..like 102-96 inches wide.

Hidden geometry will soon (and often) be your friend. I even have a shortcut for it.
