Solved!! CadFather (http://sketchucation.com/forums/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=378) has provided a solution that works well for anyone using MS Windows. A program called winsize2: http://sourceforge.net/projects/winsize2/ This program works on any window not just the options window. It's great for people with laptops and second screens because it can save different configs for different resolutions.

Hi, I am currently building some dynamic components, "pcmoor", for building construction. I too have been frustrated, however I believe the problem is in editing independent of the main model. For example before reusing a previous component to build the next, copy within a main model, then make all parts unique, use the outliner to select all the sub components at once, then make unique. thus any changes will not effect similar components. Then if you want too place into another file. One day someone needs to write a book....interested? cheers Philip

I tried make terrain meshes but is not what i need. So the only way is exporting the SKP to another modeling software, like solidworks, autodesk simulation cfd and now Xflow CFD

Depending on what files you have installed you might also find Thomthom's tools listed under a sub-menu in the Plugins menu ? Solid Inspector needs a preselected group or component instance to 'inspect'...

Hi By placing a component with hole cut both sides and a rim within a component wrapper one can place the door then explode the first wrapper which in turn activates both hole cutters attached solution which works after exploding, moreover have a look at the window opening for double leaf in my spot on the warehouse (pcmoor) updated opening to have size options cheers Philip insert bottom left, right click, explode

You might also have a look at this. There's a new plugin in the works that will make it easy to set the drawing window to exactly the pixel dimensions or ratio you want.

Reset the axes then you can rotate the model to the axes. First set the solar north so you can have your sun study.
