This dynamic open/close door is to be used with 100mm thick walls. I am trying to make the door glue to the wall at the same time cutting hole. The doorframe should stick out 11mm on each side of the wallthickness.
Anybody want to have a go on it?

Its axes are not suitable for a cutting component.
Its blue axis must face out of the face that it is glued on to.
Even with its axes corrected you'll need to give it gluing AND cutting behaviors.

Then when an instance of it is placed onto a wall it will cut a hole in the face it's on.
That hole will move with the door.

BUT it won't readily cut a hole in the other face of the wall, or form reveals...
A cutting component only cuts the face that it's glued onto...

There are several threads about this 'hole-punching' rather than single face cutting - search ...

          Hi

By placing a component with hole cut both sides and a rim within a component wrapper one can place the door then explode the first wrapper which in turn activates both hole cutters

attached solution which works after exploding, moreover have a look at the window opening for double leaf in my spot on the warehouse (pcmoor)

updated opening to have size options

          cheers
          Philip

insert bottom left, right click, explode
