Hi TIG, thank you very much! I missed deleting the rb file and deleted only the plugin's folder and subfolder files. After deleting the rb everything is gone just like I wanted. The plugin was gkware stairmaker btw., sorry for not mentioning that, thought it wouldn't make a difference. Cheers Mikar

@garry k said: Thanks Philip - my latest plugin is over 8000 lines of code. By comparison this just seems like an exercise. I saw your post and then I put threw this together from scratch. What I should say is this only works for component definitions which is what DC's are all about. You might want to also look at other dictionaries. Garry, you are too modest. Not taking away from your GREAT plugin GKWare Cabinet Maker, sometimes a short script is all that is needed to fill a void. There is nothing more valuable than the one that 'does the trick' when you need it. Most users are not coders. There is no equivalent native SU report. Dynamic Components are not that well documented for the new user. Your script (it needs a name) makes tracking and changing formulas in DCs much easier for us amateurs: we can paste results in any text editor and print what we need! It streamlines the learning process (priceless!). So again, for all of us that will benefit from this, thank you. You rock!

Sounds like a permissions issue to me ? The folder containing these assorted files... does it have FULL read/write permissions set up for all users etc in the Properties > Security > Edit dialog ? And of course, also check the equivalent permissions for all of these files too - they should inherit those from the folder's settings, but might not have ?

    1. I saw a few months past a video where you would input your model and the plugin would find the mistakes so printing would go smoother; what is the name of this software? Does anyone have any suggestions? %(#FF4000)[How to Fix and Repair Your 3D Files Using Meshlab and Netfabb NETFABB: Measure, Check and Repair] http://www.shapeways.com/tutorials/how_to_use_meshlab_and_netfabb 2. I saw a plugin that would do that, but again, it mean little at the time and now it is critical...I think. there a sketchup plug-in that inport and export STL in the sketchucation download store is available for free ( mono color file converter ) STL files are the standard file type for 3D printing How to Prep an STL File for Printing. engineering| [image: 3DP1.png] SOlid inspector is finding problems that I cant see http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=388%26amp;t=60347 with a slicer you can deforming layer by layer expanding the loop line is ok if you don't exceeded the 1/2 the nozzle width in displacement per layer "Usually the head moves in layers, moving in two dimensions to deposit one, small nozzle to form a thin and tacky bead of plastic that will adhere to the material at 45 or to not exceeded 45 degree to last layers but if you bend it or twist it may break a part the layers or change shape of object surface you will need to rebuild the model with a different path length. You need to repaint her body map, Pete. One of those retro Space 1999 outfits would do. Great model of a Tie Fighter BTW [image: DZeG_999.jpg]

This sounds like an issue with your mouse, its drivers/settings, or your mouse technique, not with SketchUp per-se. That is, for some reason SketchUp is receiving multiple mouse input events when you press the button. Check what the system settings for the mouse are, they may be interfering with SketchUp. Can you borrow another mouse to see whether the problem is with the hardware? I don't know why you see this with newer versions but not with SketchUp 8 - perhaps they tuned up something in the GUI that used to drop almost-simultaneous mouse inputs...

Knowing the value of visualization, a graphic was needed to show how easy tongue weight can be gauged. Right tool for the job and all that.

you'd need to model the terrain (ie. the positions of corners as per surveying maps for your site location) correctly, set the solarnorth correctly w.r.t. the terrain then position your axis (x=0, y=0, z=0) is at can be used as reference for the actual geo-location that's how I would do it, very few project require this level of precision though, mostly just locate the model to a known location and set the solarnorth

This is how I understood your advice to me: Scene 1A/Select All/Explode/Select All/Layer0/Make Group/Layer1/Update Scene Scene 1B/Layer3 Invisible/Explode/Select All/Layer0/Group/Layer1/Update Scene I went through the other scenes basically in the same way. I've closed and opened the model a few times and no dimension lines have disappeared!! Thank you for the valuable lesson.

@box said: Often the logitech drivers can be the problem. It can be better to run the mouse with the default win drivers. Hi Box Thanks for that, worth checking out.

This sounds like the component has the glue-to behavior set. Open the Components window, click the little house icon to see "In Model", select the component and then select edit in the component window. If you see Glue To set to anything except "None", you need to change this to eliminate the glueing behavior. Note: if you originally draw the component up against another face, this behavior is set automatically unless you unselect it in the create component dialog.

I had no issues with El Capitan and SU Pro 2016 however the OS wouldn't recognise my Brother Wireless Printer nor my Epson 4490 PhotoSmart Scanner. There were no available drivers that were compliant, so reverted back to Yosemite.

Space bar is very worn down. I have totally customized all of my keyboard shortcuts. For some reason I just always click this icon to 'clear' everything as I work. Weird I know but fighting a decade of habit. Rest All brought it back! Thanks BOX!!!
