      Hi all,

after disabling a plugin in the Preferences-->Extensions flyout plus deleting the files from C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014\SketchUp\Plugins and restarting SU the name of the plugin still appears in the Preferences-->Extensions flyout together with the (unchecked) enable-checkbox. How can I get rid of that entry? Is the plugin really gone? I'd like to have SU clean without showing stuff that is meant not to exist.

      Any ideas?

      Cheers

What is the plugin you deleted? Are you sure you eliminated all of it?

If it's one of the "shipped_extensions" [su_...] SketchUp will always reinstate it if you have deleted its loader RB or its subfolder.
You can only set this type of Extension to be disabled - you cannot stop it being loaded and listed.
This seems to be the likeliest explanation.

If it's another type of RB. then you might have not removed the correct file ?
If you have more than one Plugins folder set up then perhaps there's another one loading from somewhere - but you ought to know if you have one of those [type $: in the Ruby Console to see if there are any likely culprits - they'll almost certainly have 'Plugins' in their name]

Not telling us any useful details is a sure way to stop a speedy resolution πŸ˜’

            Hi TIG,

thank you very much! I missed deleting the rb file and deleted only the plugin's folder and subfolder files. After deleting the rb everything is gone just like I wanted. The plugin was gkware stairmaker btw., sorry for not mentioning that, thought it wouldn't make a difference.

            Cheers
