Does anyone have some experience with SimLab Composer 6.1.5 that they are willing to share with me. I have the trial version until Nov 4 but am having some problems getting started.

IN particular, I am trying to build an animation of a car driving through a car wash. I understand how to create the animations but when I try to create a movie, the movie is not he rendered version of the model and it does not look good.

I also tried to export the animation to WebGL and I get a pretty much blank web page with their template.

I am getting no where fast so I thought someone here could give me some pointers. πŸ˜• πŸ˜•

So you managed to create the animation, great, next step is rendering.

Set rendering parameters for each frame from the output tab as shown in the following image:

        pre-render.png

Next, Render the animation (all frames)

        render.png

Now we need to create a movie from rendered images, from animation, video, select Movie maker

        movie.png

Set frames per second to 25 or 30 and generate the movie.

        output.png

        I hope this helps.

          I really appreciate your reply.

Unfortunately I did not see this until later this evening but I did get this going. I also figured out how to bind the camera to the primary object I am animating. I am up to 300 frames but need to go to about 1200 frames so that I get a nice smooth animation (the model is kind of big). I am trying to build an animation of a car going through a car was which is a little over 120 feet long. I also plan to animate the car wash equipment as the car goes through the car was.

Based on my current tests, I estimate rendering the model is going to take around 12 hours of render time. I need to clean up the model so I am concerned that I will not get it done before my trial expires.
