Overhanging beams with point loads now check out. Once again ChatGPT to the rescue to help debug my syntax and even debug my actual algorithms. This AI stuff is getting crazy good, sometimes it makes mistakes but then it is able to reason and catch itself, it's uncanny. Now I just need to debug for uniform distributed loads on overhanging beams. Then it is on to the actual engineering portion (AWC stuff for wood) and some final formatting of the PDF/HTML report. I'm also not entirely satisfied with the clunkiness of the tools used to move and create the supports, some improvements on this end are needed. A load/support copy tool would be really nice, rather than having to create completely new loads and supports from scratch.

Me three, having a simple UI with only one action dialogue box open at a time will clarify things a lot. That and the view screen

I have no doubt what you said is true, but it makes me sad. I did my first play with a song creating AI program today the result was pretty amazing. Wild wild West ATM

@ashraf I'm sorry, my post did not come across as I intended. The plugin is intended for pro use rather than hobby. You have to charge the Goldilocks price or you lose out. Too much, you lose custom, too little and you go broke. IMHO, you are charging the Goldilocks price so "You know how to charge". Power to you folks.

Exactly Majid, have an Industrial design degree. And if I was to sum it up a lot of the course was deprogramming. In its most simple explanation would be that in day one of the course you would be asked to design a chair. In our young heads and 99.99% of us would see the a stereotypical break down of a chair and visualise a flat plane for your butt perhaps 4 legs to keep you off the ground and perhaps a vertical plane to support you back. Whereas a trained designer very deliberately undo the brief from "design a chair" and change it to "Develop a device to support the human frame in an "X" environment" then we might study the human anatomy.

Try Skimp to import as its importers are better than the native I find. Or Sam's Universal Importer: https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=universal_importer

Artificial intelligence? More like machine learning, little applets put together with a fancy title. Mathematical algorithms do not alone, intelligence make but, marketing is a powerful thing and creates the Emperors new clothes on an almost daily basis. Like always, buyer beware. Careful of the nano bananas, the Gibbons will go all funky on that.

You can download these using our own Sketchucation Tools. I love the texture tools for randomization and the Sprinkle tool.

The rate of improvement is staggering. Would like to see the heat generated by the AI infrastructure utilised better.
