In most football World Cup series, I've always been their supporter and fans. Always been "Der Panzer" fan. Note that (put aside the one I mentioned) they were good even if they're facing almost all other Europeans at the same time. Not to mention the US, Canada, etc. I might be a fan for the British in most field, but for certain, like any other people here in this country who knows the history - we like the Germans for their characters, discipline, science, technologies, etc. Most of the British that I like are from the cultural elements. Political ideology mostly in histories are temporary. But the main nation character may stand longer. The forum is about SketchUp. Let's put this ideo political aside for good. Cheers. I have been having a blast with the EagleUp plug-in. I draw the circuit with EagleCad, export with EagleUp to Sketchup, Add any components that don't show up and then Render to POV-Ray using SU2POV plug-in. I am getting some really nice finished products in my opinion. In fact it's appear that the internal first curve is also possible with a simple nurb Just click middle of segment A, click Apex AB, Click middle of segment B, click Apex BC etc... Maybe special Bezier curve of Fredo6 can be near the solution

Hi guys, thanks for the response. Yeah I know it would be really heavy poly wise for sketchup. I've been using a method similar to what you mentioned. I modeled a single tile,then copy pasted until I had a large tiled area, using the shell tool to make all one object. Then a few rows up I made the under side flat to reduce the polys and make easier positioning. Then I cut the the roof segs using flat planes from each face of the roof pulled into a box, and use the trim tool. works ok but real slow. Ill try looking for the roof texture from manufacturers. maybe can use them with toms bitmap to mesh script. Thanks

Can I suggest that you try the latest Slicer5 version [see the Plugins Index], and not this old one. See you over there in that thread. When you say 'crashing' do you mean a 'white-out' and not-responding - this a=is a feature seen with many tools requiring intensive calculations - Sketchup IS still processing and will eventually complete. Tip: Make your slided object a 'solid' as 'leaks' will mean slices not forming properly. I'm locking this thread [20120129]. You'll still be able to read/download/etc here...
