@unknownuser said: Will be interesting to see how fast people take advantage of your offer.....cheers! Yeah. I found most of my friends don't care or find it a bit to BETA for their tastes. Thats why I'm offering it here. A bit more tech savvyness I'd think. We'll see.

Neat stuff. I'd like to be able to export some of that to Kerkythea and play with it there.

@tomot said: As a Contractor I don't care, Nor do I care as a Framer. What I do care about; is notes on the working drawings describing size of studs, dimens..... ah, ok.. i didn't see where you were coming from.. i'm a design/build contractor and i always have a laptop onsite instead of prints and i use it for certain calculations etc where it does matter in it's accuracy.. but, from that, i'll hand out cut/assembly lists/diagrams which are scribbled on scraps etc and i bet if you actually scaled out some of those drawings, a 2x4-8 might really be a 8x10-14 .. so yeah, at some point, it doesn't matter how accurately it's drawn and only the numbers written next to them are important..

@tomot said: Most people will use what they have grown up with, They want to use whats familiar to them. They are basically lazy. They don't want to learn something new. TRUE ! I tried to convince my brother to switch on linux (Linux Minth), but I failed in a shameful manner He's still on XP. The worst part is that he doesn't use anything what he would not find on linux.

Very nice...I like the pattern function. Just to keep things together, here's a similar one from Adobe. http://kuler.adobe.com/#create/fromacolor Put the concentric circle on the colour you want as a base, then twirl the other nodes around to create harmonies.

It'd probably be nice to use that to demo a finished model to a client, but actually creating a model doesn't sound so great.
