Just downloaded the demo version of vray and has still a lot of problems, is anyone aware if asgvis has made a patch to fix all these problems? Also it takes about 10 min in a new sony vaio laptop to start the render.

Hi guys, the only thing i wanna ask is: has the new vray for sketchup 7 improved or it still has the same bugs it had in the past when it came out? I'm asking this because i'm thinking of buying it.

Never mind about the problem any more guys, i solved it. I did the simpliest thing, i restored the system to 9 o'clock yesterday before the changes happen, and it worked. Thank you very much for your help guys, and Tig thanks for the special help mate,
about the administrator options.

I entered: assoc .skp
it returned: .skp=SketchUp.Document
then: assoc .skb
it returned: .skb=.
then i entered: ftype SketchUp.Document
and got:C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 7\SketchUp.exe" "%1"

Then the file had stayed the same and the sketchup application didn't open automatically

After i type in assoc .skb it shows me .skb=. ,then i type assoc .skb=. it shows me again .skb=. . Sketchup does not open automatically and still skb files open with sketchup. What am i doing wrong?

Tig, I tried the cmd approach as administrator but nothing happened.
In Vista control panel / associate files how do I proceed? I mean there is no
delete function as in XP.

At this point when i double click a skp or skb file it automatically opens the model. Normally when i double click the skb file it should open the message window where it woull say with which program i want to open the skb file. This is what i'am trying to achieve. Is it any way to achieve it?

Hi guys. Recently i opened a skb file with sketchup. When i clicked the skb file a window message was opened, and wrote to me if i want to open the skb file with a program from my computer. I chose sketchup and i did the mistake and checked the box in the left down corner that said 'always use the selected program to open this kind of file'. Now all the skb files can be opened with sketchup,
and when i click on them the window message that said 'select a program from the list to open this file' doesn't appear any more.
I want skp files to be skb again, and when i click on them i want the message window to appear to me again. Can you help me?
