Hi,
Found this today
It allows you to dictate where downloaded files go according to site address or file extension
I set mine up to download .rb files directly into the 'Plugins' folder which is pretty nifty IMO
Thought i would share with members who might not have heard of it (not sure if it is available for Mac Users)

Thanks - I immediately thought of the same - plugins (now what to do with zipped ones?

maybe you can write a Ruby that tells Firefox to tell the Addon that it is 'special' Zip file that needs to carefully placed in the 'Plugin' folder then Unzipped oh so gently
