Works fine for me on those two browsers, and Firefox. Are you sure your password is right ? e.g. caps-lock on ? Try clearing your browsers' caches and retry logging in ??

I started a new experimentation which has several different mechanisms... Those groups which are IGNORED are for later experimentation, the current one that is NOT IGNORED is the one im using now to figure out what the problem is... Attaching SKP file... MSPhysics - Playground.skp

@rv1974 said: check Jim's 'Add hidden layer'. Additionally, there was something like 'scene\layer matrix' -I don't remember exact name. The plugin in form of table to control layers visibility through all your scenes. It's called VisMap2 by Martin Rinehart. It was updated for 2015 by Jim Foltz, but haven't tried it yet in 2018. It's a very useful extension, and I would love to see someone create a new version of it. I also use Jim's Add Hidden Layer plugin regularly and recommend it.

Hello TIG, thanks for your response. I recently upgraded my sketchup from 2016 to 2018 but I never use it when I'm online (only for activation). I use a tablet to download from and surf on the internet. I do have the sketchup viewer for Android installed on my tablet, maybe that is what's causing my problem. Once I change the extension from .skp to .rbz on my desktop the computer uses the correct diamond-symbols to identify .rbz's. by the way: thanks for your awesome contributions to the sketchupcommunity: split to plane is my personal favorite. kind regards, Folchert Dreise

@pixero said: Have you tried changing the scale of imported objects. from mm to m for example. From experience I know that scaling imported geometry can lead to strange things later on so its best to get the import right from the beginning. IF you import something at the wrong scale it can be good to use a script that scales the definition. (Can't remember the name of it but you'll probably find it by searching for scale definition.) That resets the scale of the scaled-down object to 1. Thanks! I will look for and try those plugin you mentioned. Cheers!

Hallo guys, Just playing around with Enscape and is quite amazed of it's simplicity and quality if tweaked correctly. Does anyone have any problems regarding amount of proxies from Skatter? I have a scene where only some is loaded into Enscape even though it works in other render plugins like Thea render... [image: zkVe_Enscape_testedit.jpg]

Thank you very much for your answer. Yes that's what I thought I should do. However, I thought that maybe a plugin could help me to avoid manual drawing as I am trying to get more than version of this shape... Also I think the main issue here is to connect the 2 cones with one shape based on a curve that joins them... My non-mathematical intuition also, tells me that it should be paraboloid hyperbolic or something like that. Thank you again for your help. Anyone else could help me on that ? Thanks

Hi Guys, After reading the suggestions and tried different ways I still cannot figure out how to solve this thedious problem. Here you can find the "Ruby console" output. Closing UI Starting Export Error: #<NameError: uninitialized constant LumenRT2015::VueExportGUI::Main> e:/program files/e-on software/lumenrt 2015/lumenrt/export/skp/ruby/lumenrt_ui.rbs:477:in showUI' e:/program files/e-on software/lumenrt 2015/lumenrt/export/skp/ruby/lumenrt_menu.rbs:139:in lumenRT_exportModel' e:/program files/e-on software/lumenrt 2015/lumenrt/export/skp/ruby/lumenrt_menu.rbs:535:in block in <module:LumenRT2015>' SketchUp:1:in call' All the best. I use Simsolid, You export your model as an STL file. upload it into simsolid and go to town. You can try it out for free for like 30 days. But the program is kinda pricey. You also have to be super careful with your Sketchup model. All groups and components must be clean and show a volume in your entity info tray. I use solid inspector to help double check.

Please post an image and an Skp (save as V6) of what do you want! A text is very poor for describe something! And for a no native language that is a nightmare! A profile is 2D a Cylinder is 3D ... ??? And modelize something is time losted for helpers! When you edit a Component (Assemblies or not) seems there is no problem ? My set of soft I usually use: Unfold3D - Very nice tool for UV mapping. Funny, when I tried to find a link to it's offical site I relized that now it's called RizomUV, but I use Unfold V10 Artec Studio - As I use a 3d scanner I need a software for it. Really great to use but damn resource intensive. Substance Painter - Tried differen texturing software - ended up with Substance. Marmoset Toolbag - I use it as finakl render, and sometimes for baking normals. In sone cases it gives the best results..

I'm not sure the best idea is to hack the script; rather wait til the developer gets back from basecamp themselves...

From one of the SketchUp developers (jbacus) over in the SketchUp forums: "I am keen to support end-user development in SketchUp for Web in the future, but as you guys have seen me say several times already, this is a tough project that isn’t going to come soon. We’re much more able to implement the sort of features that are most commonly accessed through an extension right in the core application. That’s the path we’re on for now." https://forums.sketchup.com/t/what-s-up-with-sketchup-make/55219/906

@haithamanwer said: i know the cross reference organizer, but its not quite what i am looking for. but since these two plugins (xref manager & cross reference organizer) are the only two available i am using a hybrid workflow that rely on both of them and so far things are a bit smoother. There is also Eneroth Reference Manager that seems like it has the same type functions as XREFs, but I have no experience with it.

ConDoc uses a type of Style hack to create hatching that Skalp doesn't play nice with. No info on v4 though. It requires you to adopt Mike's workflow to modeling etc to really benefit from it. Cool tool though.
