Thanks for your feedback Glenn-at-home Hmm, strange. I used also an inches default Master for testing. For me, entering inches (for example) works without any problems in the SU versions mentioned. Is there perhaps something wrong with my inch measurement entry and doesn´t correspond to practice? For example: for 15 feet inward, would you write " -15 " or " -15' "? ( by the way, this is a pretty complicated system for me to write) [image: 1768802840429-5bfc0a3a-ef87-4495-a97f-cc77542dee4f-image.png]

@Gus-R said in Delete Used Components: Dave, by used I mean existing components. I do use purge unused by I wanted to get rid of a bunch of cabinet pulls. OK. So you could have used the process I described, right clicking on the component thumbnail and selecting Delete. Would be faster than digging though Outliner, especially if the components are nested in groups or larger components.

@panixia said in Help with plugin: is definitely not the best for textured models tho. I know that. I was only responding to the OP's comment that SketchUp 2017 won't import .stl files. I agree that other formats would likely be better.

Does your set up meet the requirements listed here ? https://help.sketchup.com/en/sketchup/system-requirements The fact that it runs OK on a similar machine suggests that something is 'missing' in the set up with the problems - hardware or software ?

I have been testing MyArchtectureAI quite some. I also purchased the Pro version with unlimited credits. In my case the results are not that great even when doing editing. There are just too many random AI stuff happening. I just tested Archfine.com and it gave excellent results. There was editing needed because AI didn't get creative. Unfortunately it was not possible to do more test because it was possible to do only 1 test render with the free version. It seems that the solutions (Visoid, Archfine, Viz Maker) that use NanoBananaPro are giving the best results. https://vizmaker.vizacademy.co.uk/ has also somekind of integration with Sketchup but it seems to just export the image, no material info or anything. Viz Maker has also quite good edit possibilities.

https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2 AI is not good source for a solution. You could be going down a rabbithole to nowhere. A better option would be to upgrade SketchUp if that's in your budget.

Yeah, I think you'll definitely need to live with the compromise, because there's not some "universal" solution to this problem (and it can get even more complex with multiple nesting levels and/or multiple instances of the "father" component with different scale factor. You will indeed loose the "instancing" benefit, otherwise it will be a mess.. No matter the code. Buon anno a te!

Thanks @krass for putting it in a new topic! That makes it easier for me to keep track, instead of tracking everything in the huge release thread. I typed up a comprehensive guide: https://rayscaper.com/faq/licensing/#how-do-i-release-a-license-seat

@Thiago2026 If you visit https://sketchucation.com/webshop/my-licences.php you can see you have no activated licenses. The error is related to your device name. Please check if your device name uses non-alphanumeric character like áéíóú etc. Change it to use only alphanumeric characters.

Before trying the following please read the whole post as the answer might be a misunderstanding... Use the SketchUcation ExtensionStore to install JointPushPull, FredoCorner and LibFredo6 again. Then restart SketchUp to sync everything. If you are still getting the licensing error[s] check that you have installed the proper license for the extensions I suspect that you have a license for Fredo's RoundCorner and this is not the same as the installed FredoCorner, which expects a separate license file. There have been a few reports of users confusing the two extensions and their respective licenses. Although the two are similar in what they do, they are not identical, and they need to be licensed separately. So ensure you have the correct extensions installed and their matching licenses validated, after that a SketchUp restart should get both properly licensed and error free.

@tsur said in 'Search' window; 'Recent' doesn’t display most recent extensions updates.: most recently updated items, nor are they sorted by most recent — it would be very convenient if they were. Yes, we are reworking these in early 2026 along with other new features to make search and listings more intuitive Submit Extension': it says "Want to share (Y)our creations on our platform?... That should be fixed now

It's a little confusing with the two corner plugins, but I get it now -- Curvizard is great! Thanks for the suggestion; I'm going to go simplify a bunch of my old models now
