You can try this. Not too complicated, but I managed to get the below pictures out of it with Indigo.[image: NNwV_cuisine_text3_800.jpg] [image: ocVy_cuisine_text4_1024.jpg]

All, On Exploring Vue Infinite myself, I was sold with just over 30 hrs on the PLE....now licensed. I am also importing directly from SU (save a step?) and have had a few components twist off axis...no a real biggie. (Daniel) I have not found the file to increase in poly count, perhaps an update fixed this? Ok, I of course have a question for those down the path ahead of me: Is it possible to have a smooth switching between animated cameras? (gradual transition/pan to next target) Best, Charlie

large video export would be cool, for those more cinematic occasions. Something like 1024x768.

Brad I use TurboCad with SU for condoc creation. Flatten the model and export as 3d dwg. (2d export does not work the same) Dimensions and leaders export as Tcad default and I just select and change formating to suit.[Edit/Select by/Entity type] Text comes in as Tcad "Multi-text" and is format/content editable too. Not parametric but a pretty good work-around for 2d and the price is right too. Good idea to make both a 2d and 3d version of the model concerned. Both dimensions and text actually come across substantially OK so do check it out. dtr

I thought there were enough users here to tell me what I needed. I did look at Podium forum. But as you know, most forms require registering; user name, password and all. But man, I got gazillion user name and password all over the place. Its getting tough to keep track! Any way I will try there.

@paris said: My problem is that I cannot access the stand alone KT GUI. The folder is in my HD Apps, but there doesn't seem to be a way to open KT. Am I just having a 'brain fart' or being obtuse? I wonder if there is a prob with my X11? Unfortunately I'm not on a Mac myself, which makes it really difficult to come up with advices... Have you downloaded and read the Instructions for Running Kerkythea on a Mac tutorial..?? Although I'm not on a Mac, that tutorial seem to explain the steps very well... @paris said: BTW, apologies for my little rant... I know you guys are doing an awesome job! No need to apologize anything... I fully understand your frustration... Thanks for your kind words..!! Much appreciated..!!

Although we have our own Forum for IRender nXt: http://nxt.accurender.com/forums/146.aspx I think many SketchUp users would prefer to post all their SketchUp related questions at a single forum. I was hoping that SCF wanted to be just that - a place for all questions relating to SketchUp - (SketchUp itself, 3D Warehouse, COntent providers, Ruby and other extensions, Renderers, other apps, etc.) By making the add-ons section more flexible (i.e. a sub-forum for any add-on which requests it), we would make it easier for users to post their questions to the proper sub-forum, to read questions about the add-on, and to subscribe to questions about the add-on)

modelhead, not necessarily. You just need to turn the power up a lot if you dont set the background to black.

Hi Tim, welcome to the SCF! @mantis-1 said: I have the same problem, can someone explain how the problem was resolved. See the post two places up from yours... @sepo said: solved...issue of permission to write the textures. For the uninformed (i.e. those of you that don't check previous posts), this was using the Podium rendering software available for SU. A recent decision by management to throw all the toys into one basket and let you sift through it yourself resulted in the forum as it is now, somewhat overwhelming and disorganised.
